HOUSING An informal discussion on town houses , row houses , cooperative housing , condominium type housing , etc . was held . ZONING ORDINANCE _ The Zoning Officer presented a letter a ressee to�`ne Town Board regarding suggested emmendment of section 52 of the Zoning Ordinances The Board felt that this would not be the proper use of the Ordinance legally & CHASE MULTIPLE RESIDENCE - Mr . LeGrand Chase indicated in a seuss � ori w� �h t e Board about his Town Rouse proposal n the northeast section that he has determined that a condominium type operations as suggested by this Board # is illegal . Because of the Boards feelings about front yard parking , he feels that he is going to abandon this type housing for this area . In place of this previous totm�n House proposal , Mr . Chase now feels he would like to develop this land for individual houses located on lots 84feet x 200feet or 16 , 800 square feet of area each which is 1. , 800 square feet over the Mxaimum area requiremento He presented a tap of the same involving 12 lots on land north of school onlym After discussion , the Board felt that the Ordinance would not allow this in a multiple residence zone and if this is actually desired the land would have to be rezoned back to R�15 and then a lot width variance requested when the submdivlsion plan would be presented for hearing and approval. a 14ra Liguori felt that this Board has the power to re —zone this area from multiple residence zone to R-1. 5 by virtue of a TotaTn Board resolution passed November 3 , 1955 ( road to the Board ) which allows reasonable charges in zoning regulations by following proceeQure outlined by Section 281 of Town Law & Planning Board Minutes �March 39 1964 Page 2 A motion was made by Wiggins , seconded by Vasse and carried that the Planning Board accept the plan presented by Mr . Chase , drawn by Carl Crandall dated 7/18/59Q as a preliminary sub -division plan and call a public hearing thereon for March 17 , 1964 at 7 : 30 PQM , at the City Planning Office in the Eagles Bu*Llding for the purpose of consideration of the sub division plan and rezoning of subject area from multiple residence zone to R®15 zone and approval of requested variance permitting a minimum of 84 ft . frontage and 16 , 800 square foot area per lot , SALEM DRIVE SUB�DIVISTON - A motion was made by Liguori , seconaeaty umer a and carried that the Lucente Sub - Division approval as :issued 2/4/64 by this Board be rescinded and a public hearing on same will be scheduled at 8 : 30 P - Mo 3/17/64 at the Eagles Building SLATERVILLE ROAD PROPOSAL GUIDI Pard John Vasse informed ocrze oard of a tenTatIve proposal by Mr . Me Guidi to locate a professional building in the 1300 block of the Slaterville Road , The Board felt that they should receive a specific proposal and plot plan prior to comment on this subject , The meeting was adjourned at 9530 PdMo Respectfully submitted Robert J .
