After discussion regarding Various requirements for J b��,
Divisions and of Sub �73ivi. ders , it was geixerally agreed that
this Sub �D3 vision can and will be granted prelimin=ary approval
as soon as �.rm Prince contao is the Highway Superintendentai r

and drainage . Final approval will depend °upon receipt by

ZONE CHANGE ELMIRA ROAD
D Curtis Crayp owner of Gray Raven hotel , was present and
in general discussed with the Board the Elmira Road area,
as far as past and present zoning and future prospects of
growth are concerned . The need for water and sewer in the
area was stressed and the failure of the area to develop
as presently zoned was noted , 14r , Cray ' s request for rezoning
from Business " B " to Business !10 " was mainly based on the
fact that his use , plus the Cortri.ght Electric and zee wire
Carden uses are all , at this time , of a non- confo�aa.��;.
nature ,
Upon mots On by John Nasse , seconded by Frank Liguori and
unanimous vote , this Board recommends to the Town Board that
the present areas zoned Bugi.ness " B " ( 4 ) along bath vides
of the Elmira Road near its intersection with Seven Mile
Drive be rezoned to Busim6s 8le " . In addition , :its is
recommended that, the McGuire property I'ocabed onbot l sides
of the Elmira Road be rezoned also to B��si ��ess cr � cr

TOWN _ HALL
After considerable discusei. on of the obvioue need La the
Town of 'Ithaca for adequate Town Hall facilities and :emotion
by Liguori. , seconded by Vaaee and unanimous vote , thio
Board again reiterates to -the Tolamn Board their desire that
the Town Board a$ this budget time prov= cue the funds and
tape definite action to provide a Town Halle
• Although , no specific site has at this time been set -bled upon
by this Board , it was generally felt that a site in the Tc�mg
as centrally located as possible , should be chosene Mrs
Vasse . pointed out that the Laughlin property located a•6t the
intersection of Bostwick Road and P five I,11i. l.e Drive as
previously suggested , is still avai. l. abl.ea He also suggested
that the Board might study the practicality of , - , combining
Town Hall and Town Barr requirements in the area, of the
intersection of Seven Mile Drive and Bosturick Road He
again pointed out that sale of our present Town property
Located in the City would provide considerable fusids for this
project ,
