Present d Ligouri , Phillips , Marion , Wiggins , Wells Vasse , Saunders , Bruska and
Wallick of Regional Planning Board .
Correction Feb . 3rd minutes m Page 2 No , I under zoning amendrents should
read " 50% of the floor area exclusive of basement . " Omitted from Feb . 3rd minutes
motion by Marion, second by Vasse to revise R- 15 restrictions to allow "one horse
per two acres , one additional horse for each additional acre with a limit of three
horses . " Carried . Amendment to Zoning Ordinance Page 2 No , 4 of the minufies
o read "not to exceed two stories on road side . " Notion by Saunders , second by
Bruska . Carried ,
Additional amendment to No . 1 above to read 1150% of the floor area exclusive
of basement of the primary dwelling unit except where the second dwelling unit is
constructed entirely within the basement area it may exceed 50%. 11 Motion by
Wiggins , second by Yarion. Carried .
Enos rilesub-division of Honness Lane > received by Planning Board 1 cloth
and 2 copies of layout crap plus separate contour map which do not contain complete
information . When additional required information is received further consideram
tion will be given . Notion by .Saunders , second. by Phillipss Carried ,
Phil Walliek reported on the Ber sub division which will be turned over to
Bob Wells for further action .
Planning subdivision committee to hire °CParsons o consider subdivision
of Marion . - Hammond lands for survey layout Afflps , 'ion by Saunders , second
by Phillips . Carried .
Therm - Pakkala area � Notion by Farion , second by Bruska to " zone light industrial
area bounded by and including switch back to the Easterly extension of the North
boundry line of Penn , Ave . " Carried .
As requested by the West Hill area residents the motion was rade by Phillips
and seconded by Marion to add the following to the R45 restrictions of the Zoning
Ordinance . "A customary home occupation , such as dressmaking , hair dressing,
laundering, home cooking , carpentry and electrical and plumbing work or similar
manual or mechanical trade , operated solely by a resident of the dwelling , provided
that no additional persons not residing on the premiss may be employed therein and
that no- goods or products are publicly displayed or advertised for sale , that
there be no outside storage and that no noise , dust , disorder or objectionable
odor is experienced beyond the immediate property where such use is conducted . The
above uses to be conducted in the basement of the dwelling or in a garage area not
to exceed 200 square feet . " Motion carried .
Zone Remington Point ( Lieberman property ) as Business C and indicate on proposed

Professional district used by the Tompkins County Professional Building to
be shown on proposed zoning map as Business A . Notion by Vasse , second by
Marion . Carried .

• In the Administration section (XIV) of the Zoning Ordinance page 40 , 'I 7A9
add at the end after the word "promoted " � accept that as to all public btii. ldihip
and educational buildings wherein the principle use is research , administration
or instruction the same should be presumed to exist . Insert in 1U 7B on page 49.
after the words "and that such use " - except as to public and educational buildings .
Notion by Saunders , second by Bruska . Carried .
Zoning ordinance page 28 section 46 , add after Light Industrial Districts
and Industrial .
Delete section 50 on page 31 and replace with section 45 from page 26 as
new section 50.
Chairman Ligouri appointed Perry and Wiggins to a corrittee to study the
problem of restoring sand and gravel banks in the town .
