Motion by Marion : Resolved that this Board receive the rQp. ort
offered by tha staff of the regional planning board entitled
" T'ropo :)ed Land Use = Northwest Section Town of Itboca "
dated Sept . 2 . 1959 •

Mr . Colbert an -:i a group of doctors interested in developin-m a
Doctors office near Tompkins Count ; Hosrital presented a plan
for development of the area . The location has bean thorouLhly
stduied by the group of about 10 d .. ctors and found to be very
das '.trable tc them . The problem of the best allignmznt of an
entrance to the office area and to the hospital was discussed
Motion by Phillips : Zesolved : that this board secure the service
of : .n engineer to datermine the best allignment of a road to
serve as an entrance to the Tompkins County Hospital and to
the proposed commercial and office area near the hospital .
Seconded by Marion . 'Massed .
It was pointed out that the 65 day option as agreed to by Rocco
Lucente for the proposed extension of Christopher Circle
would soon expire . Six families from Christo ; , her Circle
were present and voiced their opposition to the general idea
of extension of the roadway in any manne# .
Motion by Phillips : Resolved : that this Board request that .Rocco
Lucente not apply for a building permit on lot 32B for a period
of 4.0 days so that this Board might have additional time to
restudy a proposed location of the extension of Christopher
Circle .
Seconded by Saunders o Fassede
Chairman Ligudri stated that since in the past there had been such
long meetings it was the ganeral feeling of board members that
shorter ma :. tin - s twice nor month would be desirable . It was
then decided that meotings should be held in the let and 3rd
Wednesday of each month to last until 10 P. M. September 22
at 8 P . M . was set as a special meeting ,
