June 15 , 1959
A special meeting was called to draft revisions to the Zoning
Ordinance . Suggested revisions are incorporated in the working
copy of the Revised Zoning Ordinance .
Present : Watson , Phillips , Liguori , Marion , Vasse and Boynton ,
l . Many residents of the Christopher Circle subdivision were present
to hear about the proposed oilar es of Rocco Lucente for the Chri. s -

been scheduled , however , this meeting is to be considered as the
preliminary hearing , prior to the public hearing ,
Four families of the area expressed no objection to the subdivl8l �
ion of Lots 23 and 24 on Christopher Circle into 4 lots as long
as drainage patterns are not disturbedo Three families felt that
such subdivision would not be desirable . There was some feeling
that subdivision into 3 lots would be desirable but this plan would
create possible drainage problems ,
A public hearing on the proposed subdivision of Christopher Circle
-- lots 23 and 24 is authorized for July 1 , 1959 at 8 : 00 p . m . at the
Tompkins County Court . Houseo _
2 . A public hearing on the proposed subdivision of Eu ene Dennis ,
titled Hudson Heights , was authorTze for u y N1959 a : 30 p . m .
at the Tompkins County Court House .
3 . Mr . Marion presented sketch plans of Arthur Prince for his t° .posed
subdivision of the former Underwood property . Mr . Prince was not
present to explain the plans ,
4 . The Board discussed the proposed revisions of the Zoning Ordinance
but due to the amount of time which had been necessarily used on
other planning functions , it was necessary to adjourn the meeting
close to midnight without reviewing the proposed revisions ,
MOTION by Phillips : RESOLVED that the Planning Board
employ K . C . Parsons as consultant to the Zoning Sub®
committee to aid in review of the proposed changes to
the Zoning Ordinance at a sum not to exceed $ 300 .
