Route 96
Town Engineer Fabbroni reported that the State is now considering a
proposal from the Community Hospital which notes their preference
of keeping their parking lot and taking the nurses residence . This
would lead to problems with the Paleontological Research
Institution as this design would take part of their lab .
Paleontological Research has asked the state to meet with them to
let them know what money would be available for moving from their
present site . Paleontological Research would rather have the state
take all of their building or none at all .
Councilman Cramer asked if the Town had taken a stand ?
® Town Supervisor Desch responded the Town of Ithaca endorsed the
concept of a new Route 96 six and one-half years ago .
