Public comment will be taken at the regular meetings when the items are scheduled on the agenda. Meeting Time: 6:04 pm – 8:46 pm Town Board Members Present: Kathy Miller, Supervisor Robert Cree, Councilperson Doug Dake, Councilperson Ruth Hopkins, Councilperson Edward LaVigne, Councilperson Also Present: Deputy Supervisor Sharon Bowman, Recreation Supervisor Patrick Tyrell, Town Attorney Guy Krogh, Lansing Star Dan Veaner, Village of Lansing John O’Neill, Ted Laux, Bob Bogardus, Planning Consultant Michael Long, Katrina Binkewicz, Donald Harner, and a few other attendees. Topics of Discussion: 1. Personnel Committee Recommendation – Employee Handbook (a) Employee Benefits – Section 800 2. Stormwater, Drainage and Flood Study (a) Donald Harner, with T.G. Miller, P.C., Reviewed Draft Report 3. Override Tax Cap for 2016 4. Town Land (a) Price for Leasing the Land to a Farmer 5. Drafts of Local Laws (a) Town of Lansing Communications Tower (b) Amendments to Town of Lansing Land Use Ordinance to Clarify and Expressly Prohibit Certain Natural Gas Drilling and Support Land Uses and Activities 6. Tompkins County Department of Administration Invitation to Join a Consolidated Response to the State Government Efficiency Plan 7. Solar Tompkins HeatSmart Program ENTER EXECUTIVE SESSION: Supervisor Kathy Miller moved to ENTER EXECUTIVE SESSION TO DISCUSS A CONTRACT PROPOSAL AT 7:40 PM. Councilperson Ruth Hopkins seconded the motion. All in Favor 5 Opposed 0 EXIT EXECUTIVE SESSION: Supervisor Kathy Miller moved to EXIT EXECUTIVE SESSION AT 8:45 PM. Councilperson Ruth Hopkins seconded the motion. All in Favor 5 Opposed 0 With no further business to discuss the meeting was adjourned at the call of the Supervisor at 8:46 pm.
