The Supervisor called the meeting to order having the clerk take the Roll Call . Mrs . Kirby informed the Board that she has sent copies on Luster ' s communication regarding the farm land protection act to all Plannino Board members . !ilscusson was held in regards to the traffic lights that have been applied for thru the State and also discussion on Lansing School ' s concern with the traffic light at Myers Road and 34B . Mr . Tom Jones has had communication with the State since 1988 . The Board wi l l wait for a request from trie School Board to the Lansing Town Board and work together on a solution to this problem. The Board discussed possibly splitting the cost and having half the charge being paid out of the Town ' s maintenance account . Mrs : Kirby will contact Mary Steinhart to see if this is agreeable to her and Hass a resolution at the next regular board meetinc . RESOLUTION, offered by Mr . Butler , seconded by Mr . Cleveland . The hj.c!tflriCAT society decided to restore instead of refurbish the old school house . Two new advisors to the group are Mhn Moravec & Howard Cogan who have volunteered their expertise . Their is now s2 , 500 . 00 dollars in the budget for this project . Dee asked the Board for Pete Larson ' s helP in removing part of the hedge row and for use of the front end loader . Andy Aason is in charge ot the stone work . Lou Emmick has contacted Bob Briggs and found out that the volunteers working on the project would be covered under the Towns liability . There are now II members on the advisory committee and 11 members on the Board of Directors . The Historical Society would like to hold organizational meetings at the annex two Friday ' s a month and hold a SOLID and salad night that wou , d be open tn the community to help raise money . It was the consensus of the Board to leave what should be removed and saved in the hedge row up to Bakers Acres . Dee asked the Board if there were any volunteers or further questiens to contact George Stevens .
