The Lansing Town Board met in Special Session at the Lansing
Town Hall Board Room at 8 : 15 P.M. with Supervisor Kirby presiding.

The Supervisor called the meeting to order and took the Roll
Call .
Visitors : Highway Superintendent , Pete Larson
A discussion was held regarding Workman' s Compensation rates
and consent was given by the Board to the Supervisor to allow
Lowell Safety Management Company to review recent workman's
compensation case that have taken place in our town.
A discussion was held concerning the deteriorated condition of
the Salmon Creek bridge in Myers and the fact that the County would
like to close the bridge immediately. The Town Board decided to
notify the County that the Town would like to repair the deck of
the bridge. Mr. Larson estimated the cost for material to be
around $ 100 .00 per linear foot and labor to be $80 . 00 per linear
foot . The total cost should not exceed $15 ,000 . 00 . The following
resolution was then duly adopted.
RESOLUTION offered by Mr. Cleveland and seconded by Mr.
Beckwith:
1111 RESOLVED, that the Town Board does hereby authorize the
Highway Superintendent to repair the deck of the Salmon Creek
Bridge in Myers at a cost not to exceed $ 15 ,000 .00 .
