The Lansing Town Board met in Special Session at the Lansing
Town Hall Boardroom on January 02 , 1992 at 12 :00 P.M. with
Supervisor Kirby presiding

RESOLUTION offered by Mr. Cleveland who moved its adoption,
seconded by Mr . Butler:
RESOLVED, that the Supervisor be authorized and directed to
have the Town records and Justice records audited by the Town Board
and file her report under Town Law 181 (3) .

007 at the Tompkins County Trust Company and the Tax Collector ' s
checking account number 01-101-082452 .

however, when a Special Roll Call vote is requested, voting be in
alphabetical order and the Supervisor voting last .

seconded by Mr . Cleveland:
RESOLVED thatr the Regular Board Meetings of the Town of
Lansing Board be held on the third Wednesday of each month.
Additional Special Meetings will be held on all other Wednesdays at
7 : 00 P.M. Eastern Standard Time.

RESOLUTION offered by Mr . Cleveland who moved its adoption,
seconded by Mr . Butler .
RESOLVED that the Town Officers , Authorized Personnel , and
Highway Superintendent are hereby allowed the allowable rate by the
IRS in the sum of $27 . 5 cents per mile for the use of their private
personal automobiles in the performance of their official duties .

to attend the Association of Towns meeting in New York City on
February 16-19 and that necessary expenses be a Town charge. A

are hereby authorized to attend the required Judicial Conference
School to be held in the spring and the other part in the fall , and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Town Justices are hereby
authorized to pay yearly dues associated with the N.Y. S.
Magistrates Association, and with all charges stated on a certified
voucher from each Justice.

RESOLUTION

At a regular meeting of the Town Board in and for the Town of
Lansing held on January 08 , 1992 , and upon the retirement from
office of Councilman Louis Emmick, the Town Board discussed his
devoted and long public service in representing the Town and its
citizens as an active member of the Town Board and as its
representative on several committees and boards . The Town Board,
in recognition of the outstanding community service record of Louis
Emmick passed the following resolution and directed a copy of the
same to be published and a copy given to the individual so named.
BE IT RESOLVED, that the Town Board of the Town of Lansing
hereby, for itself and on behalf of the citizens of the Town, in
recognition of the long devoted and excellent service of Louis
Emmick as a Board member, as a member of committees, as a
representative of the Board on various governmental activities , the
Town Board commends , praises and expresses the heartfelt thanks and
gratitude of the people of the Town of Lansing to Louis Emmick,
His energy and responsible participation in the governmental role
that he performed insured that these organizations served the
people of the Town
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that Louis Emmick have
a happy and healthy retirement and take great pride in what he has
accomplished representing the citizens of the Town.
