Action Item:
Area Variances
Applicant: Dandy Mini -Mart
Location: Corner of Ridge Road and East Shore Drive; Tax Parcel Number 31.-6-9.1, 31.-6-10,
31.-6-11, 31.-6-13, 31.-6-14, 37.1-1-2
Project Description: The applicant is applying for area variances to allow for the addition of
signs beyond that which is permitted under §210 — Signs.
SEAR: This is a part of a Type I action currently under the review of the Planning Board
Anticipated Action: Review of application, coordination of SEAR w/ Planning Board, set public
hearing
Summary of Discussion:
• The Applicant described the project.
• The Acting Director of Planning explained the project's SEQR status and the Zoning
Board of Appeals' role.
• The Zoning Board of Appeals have requested 3D renderings of the signs and their
locations.
• The Zoning Board of Appeals have requested a photometric plan.
• The Zoning Board of Appeals have set a Public Hearing Date for February 14, 2023.
