19 Co-Chair Tom Butler opened the meeting at 6:33 pm

21 Approved the September 2, 2021 CAC meeting minutes as amended.

27 Bell Station:
28 - The Town has retained a consultant to represent the Town's interests in the negotiations.
29 - The Consultant, Clement Nadeau, will be coordination with DEC, FLLT, and County Planning.
30 - The CAC would like to send thank you notes to those involved with cancelling the auction of the
31 Bell Station lands.
32 Overlay District for Cayuga Lake Scenic Byway
33 - The Director of Planning explained how the Overlay District helps and affects Planning.
34 - The CAC would like to see most of Ridge Road from Lake Ridge Road to Portland Point Road
35 included in this Overlay District.
36 - The CAC considered where they would be willing to see development and where they absolutely
37 would not.
38 - The CAC considered the distance they would recommend from the Scenic Byway west toward
39 the lake.

40 - Karen is willing to create some maps to help visualize the area being considered.
41 Open Space Index
42 - The Director of Planning discussed the benefit of the RFQ process.
43 - The Director of Planning has applied for the Park Foundation Grant and has requested a budget
44 from the Town.
45 - The CAC will create a scope of work for potential consultants.
46 - David Wolfe is willing to work on the scope of work criteria.
47 Conservation Easement Criteria
48 - Robin Bailey is willing to work on a list of criteria for the Conservation Easement language.
49 Membership
50 - Several CAC members have terms expiring.
51 - All members are willing to stay on.
52 Cornell Orchards
53 - There is a new Chair of the Horticulture Department. David Wolfe is willing to reach out to her
54 to discuss the letter.
55 Co-Chair Tom Butler called the meeting to be Adjourned at 8:41 pm.
