Randall, Planning Director 18 Heather Dries, Code Clerk 19 20 Public Present 21 No Public Present 22 Co-Chair Tom Butler opened the meeting at 6:32 pm 23 24 Approved the August 5, 2021 CAC meeting minutes. 25 26 Public Comments via email to tolcodes@lansingtown.com 27 - No Public Comments by email before or while meeting was live streaming on YouTube 28 at https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCs2FgU2xFnDyGS8DwXgoJwA 29 30 Bell Station lands 31 - The CAC Members reviewed and edited their letter to Sen. Pamela Helming and Assemblyperson 32 Anna Kelles regarding Bell Station. 33 Open Space Index 34 - It could take six to nine months to develop the OSI, including a public engagement period. 35 - The CAC can issue a Request for Proposal or just choose a Firm.The CAC will choose which route 36 they would like to go at the next meeting. 37 - MJ Engineering has worked on the Town of Bethlehem's Open Space Index.They have also done 38 work for the Town on the Parks, Recreation, and Trails Master Plan. Page 1 of 2 39 - The Director of Planning will reach out to MJ Engineering to see if they have the capacity to take 40 on this project. 41 - The Director of Planning plans to submit a grant application for the Open Space Index to meet 42 the September 24, 2021 deadline. 43 146 Myers Rd— proposed conservation easement 44 - The CAC is no longer interested in pursuing the proposed conservation easement. 45 - Though the property is small it is worthy of protection; however, it is landlocked and there is no 46 direct path to development. 47 - The Director of Planning will reach out to registered owners. 48 Progress on Town conservation easement guidelines 49 - The Town of Bethlehem has a conservation value score chart in their OSI that could be modified 50 to fit the Town of Lansing's needs. 51 Overlay Districts 52 - The Town Board is looking for progress on the Overlay Districts. 53 - The CAC needs to determine what criteria they will use to determine the districts. 54 - The Director of Planning will circulate a draft map to help CAC make recommendations on the 55 geographic extent of the overlay districts. 56 - Carrie,John F., and Tom will review the map. 57 Co-Chair Tom Butler called the meeting to be Adjourned at 8:34 pm. 58 59 Minutes taken and executed by Heather Dries.
