HomeMy WebLinkAbout2022-04-29 Emergency Meeting April 29, 2022 1 EMERGENCY TOWN BOARD MEETING APRIL 29, 2022 An Emergency Meeting of the Lansing Town Board was held at the Town Hall Board Room, 29 Auburn Road, Lansing, NY, and streamed live on YouTube on the above date at 9:01 a.m. The meeting was called to order by Edward LaVigne, Supervisor, and opened with the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag. Roll call by Deborah K. Munson, Town Clerk, showed the following to be PRESENT: Andra Benson, Councilperson Ruth Groff, Councilperson (remotely) Bronwyn Losey, Councilperson (remotely) Joseph Wetmore, Councilperson (remotely) Edward LaVigne, Supervisor ABSENT: No one absent ALSO PRESENT: Patrick Tyrrell, Parks and Recreation Supervisor ALSO PRESENT REMOTELY: Guy Krogh, Town Counsel and C.J. Randall, Director of Planning MOTION AUTHORIZING TOWN SUPERVISOR TO SIGN AGREEMENT TO PURCHASE PROPERTY AT 2 AUBURN ROAD, LANSING, NY MOTION M22-25 MOTION AUTHORIZING TOWN SUPERVISOR TO SIGN AGREEMENT TO PURCHASE PROPERTY AT 2 AUBURN ROAD, LANSING, NY Moved and Seconded as follows: The terms of the real property purchase agreement between the Town and the Estate of Verna Jacquith for land, entitlements, and improvements at 2 Auburn Road be and herby is approved in the form as presented to this meeting, that the Town shall fund such contract upon its terms and at a base purchase price of $68,000, and that the Town Supervisor sign such agreement and close upon such title and transaction as soon as is reasonably possible, all by and in the name of the Town of Lansing. The question of the adoption of such proposed Motion was duly motioned by Councilperson Andra Benson, duly seconded by Councilperson Joseph Wetmore, and put to a roll call vote with the following results: Councilperson Andra Benson – Aye Councilperson Ruth Groff – Aye Councilperson Bronwyn Losey – Aye Councilperson Joseph Wetmore – Aye Supervisor Edward LaVigne – Aye Accordingly, the foregoing Motion was approved, carried, and duly adopted on April 29, 2022. MOTION TO ADJOURN MEETING Councilperson Joseph Wetmore moved to ADJOURN THE MEETING AT 9:05 AM. Councilperson Ruth Groff seconded the motion.
