Randall and Bronwyn Losey   Approved minutes from Sept. 9, 2021 No dissenting votes. Election of Hilary Lambert to Vice Chairperson. No dissenting votes. Discussion of mandatory state PERMA courses required before the Nov. 19 deadline. If you have done the requirement through your employer or other organization, contact Jenna at Parks & Rec Department at jhoellerer@lansingtown.com.   The committee discussed the latest developments with the Bell Station property and applauded the end of NYSEG’s silent auction, at the Governor’s request, and got an update on the ongoing discussions with the Finger Lakes Land Trust, DEC and NYSEG about the sale of the land primarily for conservation. Approved adding our signature to thank you note to those involved in the effort.   The committee discussed the possibility the owners of the former Power Plant might in the future request it be converted to a cryptocurrency facility because of recent activity with the sister plant in Somerset. Somerset Operating Co., under new subsidiary, Lake Mariner Data LLC, is approved to build a cryptocurrency mining facility with TeraWulf. The committee felt it prudent to continue to explore the pros and cons in the event there is movement in that direction.     Hilary led discussion of COC’s water quality and landfill research and data at the power plant site from DEC and other sources.
