New York Planning Federation Training Session:
April 13, 2009 at 6 :30 p . m. at the Lansing Town Hall
29 Auburn Road, Lansing, New York
Mr. Scott Chatfield, from the New York State Planning Federation, will be
offering a free training seminar addressing best administrative practices and the
• roles and responsibilities of the parties involved in town land use and planning:
Planning Board, ZBA, Town Board, Planning & Zoning Department/ Engineer
and Planning Coordinator, Code Enforcement Office, and Planning & Zoning
Committee .
You may submit your specific questions in advance for Mr. Chatfield to
address at the training session by sending them directly to the Town of Lansing
Planning Department at Tolcodes@twcny . rr.com . The questions will be
forwarded in advance of the training session to Mr . Chatfield . Questions will
also be encouraged during the training.
Members of the community at large are encouraged to attend, as well as
other officials from Towns throughout Tompkins County .
A sign in sheet will be available for those who would like this training
session to count towards their four hours of New York State required training.
You must provide the contact information for the Town you would like notified
of your training.
