Motions= Motions made by a Planning Board Member Resolution= Prepared-paid Resolutions by Legal Counsel If you notice this document contains several years of Motions and Resolutions (at bottom ) 2007 to present:. Click on previous years and check them out . For the year 2010, those 4 lines should have been placed at the beginning of the document . As you can see, according to the Minutes provided to me, there were no motions or Resolutions 'at the 1 / 25 / 10 Meeting, and only 3 for the 2 / 8 / 10 Meeting. That should clarify what was ° asked of me by Larry . To correct the position of where the document should begin, i ighlight the lines, copy and paste to the first line under the date . Then go back and delete the 4 lines where I started . As I periodacally send you updates, just replace the entire document . This should not and was not intended to be complicated. I hope this has been helpful I started this spreadsheet for my own records and then decided it would be helpful if the Chair and Legal Counsel had a copy. I have not had any complaints from them, and hope they refer to it as often as I do . If any of you can think of a better way of keeping track of items, by all means I'm open for suggestions . I will also mail a hard copy to Dave Hatfield . As we discussed', at the 1 / 25 meeting, this document is a springboard for comment and revisiomto be made by the entire board . Please review same, mark up as necessary, making proposed additions and deletions and any requisite typo edits (it is double spaced to make room for mark-up) . Please bring your marked up copy to the next meeting for discussion. This is only a draft—based on the discussions of the Bylaws Committee and is a work u1 progress for full board determination . . . One item already discussed at the 1 / 25 meeting was the possible addition of a provision for alternates to sit at the table with regular board members in order to become familiar with the process' and the applications in case they are called upon. Although they may not vote unless there is a lack of quorum, discussion and review of the applications could be allowed . We also discussed a possible reduced stipend for alternates . • I am also attaching a sample work session procedure document form East Hampton which may be worth a view. Of course, our planning staff will not be able to put together the professional planning reports done in East Hampton (what a budget they must have), but it could be a great opportunity for our checklists usage . . . Thanks, and I look forward to seeing you all in February ! Best, Lorraine Lorraine Moynihan Schmitt, Esq. Partner, Thaler & Thaler 309 North Tioga Street P.O.
