Other Larry Sharpsteen brought up concerns regarding a Letter from Tompkins County Agriculture Sr Farmland Protection Board regarding Mr. Daniel Starner and drainage issues on his property . After further discussion by the Board Members and Mr. Overstrom , it was agreed that Mr. Starner did not approach the Board concerning drainage on his specific property . Mr. Starner voiced concerns with regards to the Kirby Subdivision that was before the Board . Approval/Denial of November 3, 2008 Minutes Thomas Ellis requested on page 3 under Cayuga Vista , # 1 word commendations should read: accommodations . Zoning Committee Update Larry Sharpsteen states progress is being made now . It took some time for. the Members of the Community that were appointed to get in context before they could address issues . This chore will most likely take longer than the Chair had anticipated . Larry Sharpsteen made a motion requesting that the Town Board address a particular change in the Subdivision Rules & Regulations, Section 400 with regards to the review of contiguous 1 Lot Subdivisions . Jeff Overstrom shared an email from Legal Counsel with regards to the Planning Board ' s concerns above . • Cayuga Farms Meeting 5 D RAFT 11/24/08/PB • Lin Davidson requested that someone volunteer to take his place at an upcoming • Meeting as he has a previous engagement. Thomas Ellis volunteered . Town Board Liaison Matthew Besemer stated at the last Town Board Meeting, the Board authorized Steve Colt, Director of Parks & Rec . to apply for a Trail Ways Grant for the Town . Mr . Besemer states the Planning Board is not required to endorse Mr . Colt' s request, however, it could possibly help the Town. Steve Colt further explained that the Town would like to refurbish an existing walking trail that starts at the old Egan ' s building and goes up behind the Town Hall to the existing pavement for a total of approximately 800 linear feet. This project would enable pedestrians for safe, clear access for walking, biking and motorized wheelchair use . If this plan goes well , Mr . Colt would again in two years apply for an additional grant that would allow the trail to go up into the old railroad bed . Larry Sharpsteen made a motion requesting that the Planning Board authorize Chairman Davidson to sign a letter endorsing the Recreation Department' s Application for the Grant Trail as it is in keeping with the Town' s Comprehensive Plan .
