The Board reviewed the map and discussed the possible ways to subdivide that would meet the subdivision regulations . The 23 board stated that Mr. Tarbell ' s choices are to divide the flag pole area giving each parcel the necessary 24 20 ft . of road frontage making flag lots or to have the road accepted as a private road by the Town and 25 have the necessary road frontage be on that road . 26 27 Mr. Tarbell will contact Dick Platt to get the information on what would need to be done. Mr. Tarbell 28 will bring the subdivision back to the Planning Board for approval when it is decided how it will be 29 done . 30 31 Approve Minutes of 9/24/01 - Page 2, Line 26 . . . Lin Davidson corrected . . . Article IX . . . . Brad Griffin 32 moved to accept the minutes as corrected . David Hatfield seconded . VOTE : ALL iN FAVOR , 33 MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY . 34 35 Committee Reports 36 37 Bud Shattuck explained that the Town Board had considered the Planning Board ' s request on One Lot 38 Subdivisions and had agreed . They planned to have a public hearing for it, but on further review, the 39 legal people found that it was never put in to the regulations either way as to how they are handled so at 40 this point they are not going to have a public hearing. Bud stated that they are leaving it as it is now, 41 under the auspices of the Zoning Office and he has agreed to bring them all to the Planning Board . Bud 42 stated that when they redo the Zoning Ordinance, they will specify in there that one- lot subdivisions are 4Alis to come before the Planning Board . 4 2 'low#, of Lansing Planning Beard, October 15. 2001 l Gregg Travis stated that 4 of the people present attended the Planning Federation Conference the 2 previous week . Gregg stated that he found it very interesting . Gregg added that there may be some 3 things they should be doing differently. • 4 5 Richard Plan stated that he attended on class on noise regulation . Dick stated basically it said that you 6 would have to be able to determine decibel , distance, frequency, etc . so it would be almost impossible to 7 regulate. Dick stated that Nancy attended one meeting where they were infoniied that the SEQR should 8 be clone at the beginning of the review of a subdivision . 9 10 Nancy Loncto stated that one thing she thought they might want to be thinking about is the fact that a lot 11 of towns have alternates for their Planning Boards . Nancy stated that, at times, they have barely had a 12 quorum and that it would also provide an existing pool from which to draw for future Planning Board 13 members . 14 15 Nancy stated that another thing that was very interesting to her was that town counsel is not necessarily' 16 planning board counsel when push comes to shove. Bud Shattuck stated that Lin has mentioned that 17 several times . Bud stated that when the Planning Board puts their budget up, that is one of the things 18 they should look at. 19 20 Greg Travis stated that he attended one on communication towers . Bud Shattuck stated that the Town is 21 looking at being one of the first towns in New York State to look at a wireless master plan , which 22 possibly might include no towers . Bud added that the county is looking at a similar plan also . 23 24 Review of Land Use Ordinance 25 26 The board resumed their review of the ordinance with Article X and continued through Appendix 27 definition for Dwelling, Multiple Family. 28 29 The next meeting is scheduled for October 29, 2001 at 7 : 00 PM. 30 31 Lin Davidson motioned to adjourn at 9 : 30 . Nancy Loncto seconded. VOTE : ALL i-N FAVOR .
