George Totniaaa stated that if lie comas in again, lie would tell him that. • Ia Viola ?Adler stated that she had contacted Tont Ceiderkorn on another matter for the Town Center Conunittee , 25 Viola. stated that while calking with Tom , she told him about the problem that had come up - Tom sent Viola a note 26 concerning die issue of changes from the draft of the zoning ordinance to die one that was adopted by the Town . 3 Town of Lansing Planning Board, July 10, 2000 I Viola Miller read the note from Tom Neiderkorn , Brad Grifi.n stated that in addition to confirming the recollection of some of the members of the Planning Board, it also provides a. reference of what that had been . W. Bud Shattuck stated that if the Planning Board feels strongly enough about apartment houses in the low-density 4 areas, they could come to address the Town Board at the next meeting. 5 6 Richard Thaler Subdivision — Brad Griffin asked George if he went over the checklist to make sure it met all the 7 requirements . George Totman replied that it did as far as he knows . Brad stated that the only elements that would S be up to some review currently would be Pete Larson ' s desire to look at the radius of the turn and the drainage 9 which seems to be reasonable concerns for his office . George Totman stated that once it is approved, Pete Larson 10 and Dave Herrick usually meet with the developers and they inspect it as the project goes along to make sure those 11 concerns arc taken care of. 12 Larry Sharpsteen moved to accept the final plat of the subdivision , Lin Davidson seconded . VOTE : ALL IN 13 FAVOR. MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY . 14 OTHER BUSINESS 15 Brad Griffin stated that he did attend the last meeting of the Village of Lansing Planning Board . Brad Griffin stated 16 that they were wrestling with design standards . Brad Griffin stated that he and Ed Mickey were going to meet again 17 on Friday to compare notes . Brad stated that he will try to follow up and meet with other towns as well . is Brad Griffin stated that Bud Shattuck had challenged them to come up with some constructive recommendations to 19 the Town Board as to the road configuration, changes, and the appropriateness of zones . Brad asked if they would 20 want to do that on July 24, 2000 . Viola Miller agreed that it would be a good idea . 21 Dave Hatfield entered at 8 : 24 PM , ® Brad Griffin stated that he did not see a need for minutes to be taken at that work meeting , I3ud Shattuck stated 23 that it will be an open meeting, and that they will just have to do a summary of things that were discussed at the 24 meeting. Larry Sharpsteen stated that he would do a sketch on onionskin overlay for that meeting because he would 25 not be at the meeting . 26 Committee Reports 27 Treasurer - Jackie Baker stated that they spent $ 1390 for maps that Bud Shattuck had made from T.G . Miller . 28 Jackie stated that so far they had spent a total of $ 1700 . Jackie stated that they still have a balance of $3798 . 29 Planning Federation - Viola Miller reported on the Tompkins County Planning Federation . Viola stated that at the 30 last meeting they had quite a presentation on landfills . Viola stated that if they ever need information on landfills 31 when they are working on things here in Lansing, they could get the informationfrom the county. Viola Miller 32 stated that the meeting on Tuesday, July 11 , 2000, would be on Unique Natural Areas . 33 Sewer Committee - Larry Sharpsteen stated that they are rejuvenating the Sewer Committee , Larry stated that they 34 are looking for other members . 35 EMC - Larry Sharpsteen stated that they need dates in which the Town Board and the Planning Board can meet 36 together for the presentation of the UNA . Larry stated that the Southwest Park is still very much a concern . 37 38 Lin Davidson motioned to adjourn at 9 : 12PM , Larry Sharpsteen seconded . VOTE : ALL IN FAVOR. MOTION 39 CARRIED .
