Other matters to come before the board and schedule meeting time for Suv - Div . Review . TOWN OF LANSING PLANNING BOARD July 10, 1989 Present: A. White , Choir; L . Hirvonen, R . Hogin, C. Kammen, F . Ramin, L . Sharpsteen; L Emmick , Town Board Liaison, 6. Totman Zoning and Code Administrator, D . Herrick , Town Engineer Chairman White called the meeting to order to 7: 30 pm. Minutes of the meeting of June 26 were approved as submitted . Tobey Halley: Minor Subdivision: on North Myers Road , overlooking Myers Heights. One lot subdivision, lot has 220 ' frontage on Myers Rood, and is a total of 1 . 7 acres . R . Hogin moved that the Planning Board accept this one lot minor subdivision and that we waive the public hearing. Hirvonen seconded. Approved unanimously. Herbert Beckwith One Lot Minor Subdivision: fi F . Ramin moved that the Planning Board accept this one lot minor subdivision. R . Hagin seconded. Approved unanimously. A public hearing will be scheduled for August 7 . Meeting Date Change: 6. Totman requested that the Planning board shift its meetings from the 2nd and 4th Mondays of each month to the 1st and 3rd. The Planning Board will look into this possibility and will querry ✓ iola Miller and make the request of the Town Board. Members present were agreeable to making this shift . J ohn Alden Stevens One Lot Minor Subdivision: of 1 . 67 acres on Hillcrest Rood with 466.22' road frontage. R. Hagin moved that we consider acceptance of this one lot minor subdivision after a public hearing is held. Kammen seconded . In favor: Hagin, Sharpsteen , Kammen, Hirvonen, White . Ramin abstained. The public hearing is scheduled for August 7. P inney Major Subdivision: Mr. Price made a presentation about the revised subdivision. Lots have 100' frontage; two potential easements, north and south are shown. Septic system size was questioned. Planning Board members asked about grading , about the marina. The number of lots is now 34. Drainage was questioned. Length of rood is approximately 1 /2 mile, with 60' easement . Rood pitch is under 12% but it is 17% on the curves. Action on this sketch plan was tabled until later in the meeting. ® Learning Web: Michael Koplinka -Loehr, Coordinator for the Learning Web , a not-for- profit organization, reported on plans to move an 1843 Greek Revival house from 72 Bush Lane into the Town of Lansing. The house move should take place the first week in August . The house will be sold to benefit the Learning Web. The Planning Board took no action on this . Mr and Mrs _ Bertram Buck : Buck Road, a one lot subdivision of a 2 acre parcel , with 102. 13' road frontage. NYSEG power line bisects the Buck property and is adjacent to the proposed lot . There is a designated wet land to the west . Hagin moved that the Planning Board accept this one lot minor subdivision and waive the public hearning. Ramin seconded. Approved unanimously . [See attached map of Buck lands and of recent sales] Meadow Ridge Subdivision: David Herrick reported that the Health Department has approved and stamped the plat for Meadow Ridge but it has not been signed because the negative declaration of the SEQR has not yet been reported to that department . The new plans show a 15 ' set back along the north line and drainage issues have been worked out between Mr. Harris and Mrs . Simms . They will share in the common maintenance of the drainage ditch along lots al and # 9. Ramin moved conditional final plat approval of Meadow Ridge subdivision contingent upon the subdivision receiving negative declaration for their SEAR and their plat being approved and signed by the Health Department . Because there has been no appreciable difference between the preliminary plat and the final plat a public hearing will be waived. Sharpsteen seconded. Approved unanimously. Pinney Subdivision: Sharpsteen moved that the Planning Board approve the sketch plan of the Pinney Major Subdivision noting our strong concerns about drainage, sewage, road slopes in excess of 12 % (the figure allowed in Town of Lansing specifications ), and about responsibility for road preparation from Route 34 into the development . Hagin seconded. Approved unanimously.
