TOWN OF LANSING PLANNING BOARD
DATE : March 21 , 1988
PRESENT : Chairman A . White , L . Sharpsteen , C . Kammen , F . Ramin , V . Miller , L . Hirvonen
ABSENT : H . Beckwith
I . MINUTES - Feb . 8 , 1988 , Feb . 22 , 1988
V . Miller suggested 1 . initials only be used after the full title has been written out ;
2 . the location of all areas under duscussion be put at the
beginning of the section .
Correction :
Feb . 8 & 22 , 1988 - Correct spelling of Mr . Byles name ( not Bailes ) .
Feb . 22 , 1988 -Correct to read Cheryl Nickols rather than Mrs . Leathers
Feb . 22 , 1988 - page 2 , paragraph 1 - reduce " radius of curve "
rather than " width of turnaround "
paragraph 3 - accepted by proposer as friendly
amendment .
MOTION : C . Kamrnen moved to accept both sets of minutes as amended . Seconded by
F . Ramin and carried unanimously .
II . Adams proposed subdivision - TRIPHAMMER TERRACE
L . Sharpsteen spoke with Mr . Adams re : double lane- divided highway with median for
subdivision on the west side of Triphammer Terrace .
Discussion :
1 . legal counsel review necessary ,
2 . width of road will be ditch to ditch ,
3 . median responsibility to be held by developer or neighborhood assoc . ,
4 . median to be treated as carefully as all other land .
III . PUBLIC HEARING - 8 : 00 PM - M & S MOBILE HOME PARK - RTE 34B , 1109 RIDGE RD .
No members of the public were present .
8 : 04 PM - public hearing closed .
IV . WOODSEDGE PROPOSED SUBDIVISION - J . LUSK
A . Letter from Bolton Point to followl
B . Letter of hardship will be reviewed by Town Attorney .
V . ROAD DISCUSSION
Town engineer would like info re : roads in proposed subdivisions along lake for
• help with proposed water district . Planning Board felt Mr . Miller more qualified
to deal with that .

VI . M & S MOBILE HOME PARK
411/ MOTION : Based on the information presented at the Feb . 22 , 1988 meeting , it is
moved to send the proposal to the Town Board for approval . So moved by
L . Sharpsteen , seconded by C . Kammen , carried unanimously .
VII . EASTLAKE PDA
A . Statement of Intent submitted .
B . Further discussion tabled until receipt of Tom Millers report , .
VIII . WARREN ROAD BUSINESS PARK - CJ DEVELOPMENTS
A . Statement of Intent submitted .
B . Need letter from Town Board re : water district .
C . Drainage plan will be provided for improvements made by CJ Developments .
Individual lots will do their own .
D . MOTION : L . Sharpsteen moved to collect all submitted material and send to the
Town Board for review with the provision that all conditions be met
before final approval and that site plan review for individual lots
rest with the Planning Board . See Sect 1307 . 6 . Seconded by C . Kammen ,
carried unanimously .
IX . WHISPERING PINES - THALER
• A . Preliminary Plat of entire subdivision submitted .
B . MOTION : The Planning Board moved to grant conditional approval of the
preliminary plat of the entire subdivision contingent upon
1 ) the submission of a drainage plan satisfactory to Mr . Wood , and
2 ) SEQR approval by Town Board .
So moved by C . Karnmen , seconded by F . Ramin , and carried unanimously .
C . Discussion of final approval of lots # 5-8 .
D . MOTION : PlaNNING Board will approve addition of lot # 6 to the existing approved
subdivision ( lots # 1-4 ) provided a letter of hardship is provided .
