Kammen Guest : Bob Kemple , new Code Enforcement Officer , to replace G . Wood who is leaving in June 1987 . I . Minutes November 11 , 1986 , November 24 , 1986 MOTION : A . White moved to approve both sets , seconded by L . Sharpsteen , carried unanimously . II . Orear proposed lakeshore subdivision The Town Board rescinded their motion to accept Mr . Orear ' s road proposal on December 12 , 1986 on the grounds that the Town Engineer had not approved the road as required . In order to clarify a situation that the Planning Board encounters frequently • the Board wished to state that when the Subdivision Rules and Regulations state that a lot must have access to a public road , they wish to interpret that to include any private road which exits onto a public road as falling within the permissable limits of the Ordinance . V . Miller suggested a letter be sent to Mr . Orear to the effect that since the Town Board rescinded their approval , Planning Board requirements have not been fully met and Mr . Orear should discuss his status with the Town Ordinance Officer or Planning Board Chairman . III . Wilson - Lansingville Rd . proposed subdivision An incomplete subdivision application and check was received in October 1986 . Since further information was not received and the party was unavailable by telephone , the check will be returned . IV . Morse Borg Warner Morse Borg Warner sold a lot on the corner of Cherry and Bush Rds . to an • employee without obtaining a subdivision permit . V . Miller will contact the party involved and explain the regulation . I 1 - 12 - 87 continued • V . Election of Officers The following were nominated to hold office for the year 1987 : Chairman - John Homa Jr . Vice - Chairman - Al White Secretary - Larry Sharpsteen Treasurer - Carol Kammen MOTION : F . Ramin moved that the nominations be. accepted , H . Beckwith seconded , carried unanimously . VI . Environmental Impact Statements New York State mandates that all subdivisions file a short form Environmental Assessment Form which determines if a complete Environment Assessment Form is necessary . This in turn indicates the need for an Environmental Impact Statement . MOTION : Members felt that the Lansing Subdivision Rules and Regulations should . be amended to include the short Environmental Assessment Form for all subdivisions . C . Kammen moved that the proper amendment procedure be instigated , seconded by A . White , carried unanimously . VII . Code Enforcement Officer Bob Kemple was introduced . He discussed with the Board the Code Enforcement Officer job description . Bob said that in the past he had reviewed the agenda with Board members prior to each meeting , told them where they stood on each item and what they needed to do . The Board felt this to be an excellent plan . Mr . Kemple was asked to investigate the status of the Lucente PDA . - 2 -
