Minutes Sept . 29 , 1986 - MOTION : A motion to accept as submitted was made by C . Kammen , seconded by V . Miller , carried unanimously . Oct . 13 , 1986 - MOTION : A motion to accept as submitted was made by C . Kammen , seconded by A . White , carried unanimously . II . Olsefsky proposed minor subdivision A . Location : north side of Cherry Rd . , east of Triphammer Rd . Size : 4 lots , each 3 or 3+ acres . Reason for subdivision action by the Planning Board : insufficient road frontage . • Discussion : The lots are deeper than the Board usually feels is advisable , however , the lots are large and the land adjoining to the north is a large undeveloped tract owned by Cornell . Future develpment would appear possible . MOTION : L . Hirvonen moved to accept the Olsefsky sketch plan as a Preliminary Plat for a minor subdivision of 4 lots on Cherry Rd . . Seconded by F . Ramin , carried unanimously . A public hearing will be scheduled for Nov . 24 , 1986 at 7 : 45 . FURTHER DISCUSSION : Mr . Olsefsky wondered if there were alternate ways of handling his subdivision as he feels it is a hardship to wait until the public hearing . B . Mr . Olsefsky submitted a survey map of one lot and requested a one - lot minor usbdivision on Cherry Rd . . The lot is three plus acres with 206 ' road frontage . MOTION : C . Kammen moved to accept the Olsefsky one - lot minor subdivision on Cherry Rd . and waive the requirement for a public hearing . Seconded by A . White , carried unanimously . C . A public hearing will be held on the three - lot minor subdivision on Cherry Rd . on Nov . 24 , 1986 at 7 : 45 / - 1 - II - 11 - 86 III . Shulman - Lieberman proposed minor subdivision • - presented by Dr . & Mrs . Ken Lieberman Location : Route 34 , E . Shore Dr . along Cayuga Lake , Esty Hill Size : Approx . 10 acres - 3 lots ; 8 . 9 acres , 2 . 2 acres & 2 . 6 acres . Zoning : low - density residential Water : The Village of Lansing has indicated they will allow an extension of the water line from the adjacent property of Dr . Filios . Driveways : because of the steep pitch of the land , a landing area and right of way will be developed to service all three lots . There will be only one exit onto the highway . Ownership : currently owned by Mr . Purcell Planning Board conerns : 1 . apparent discrepancy between tax map & survey map , 2 . has Mr . Purcell sold a lot previous to this ? 3 . must have permission from State Highway Commission to exit onto a state highway , 4 . culverts should be designed by their engineer , G . Schlecht , and shown on the map , • 5 . Health Depart . requirements must be met , 6 . site development . IV . Orear Subdivision A . A letter from the Town Attorney Williamson was received indicating that he felt Mr . Orear to be in compliance . B . A letter from Town Supervisor Herbert Howell was received indicating the Town Board has approved the design of the road and is satisfied that the road improvements will be completed . C . Map change has been completed . D . Letter of agreement between Hicks and Orear on the road was submitted and rejected by the Planning Board as it implied acceptance as a Town road by the Town Board . E . Road - highway exit has been approved by State Highway Commission - tests will be done to assure that top and bottom fill are correct , 4111 - must have legal description of road , - sizing of culverts to be determined . - 2 - • 11 - 11 - 86 • MOTION : It was moved by A . White to approve the Orear major subdivision off Rte . 34 and along Cayuga Lake as , proposed with the condition that the letter of agreement between Hicks & Orear be corrected so as not to imply acceptance by the Town Board .
