Ie Minutes of Previous Meeting
July 11 , 1983 -
MOTION : : L . Hirvonen moved to accept the minutes as read . S . Cleveland seconded
the motion , carried unanimously .
II0 Subdivisions
L . Montague reported that Jack Morris contacted him through Joha Wooster re a
proposed minor subdivision off Horvath Drive , approximately 18 acres .. L . Mon- r
tague told him to check oa the road costs as per Town requirements . They did
check . on the costs and dropped their plans . They had not yet purchased the land .
There is a possibility of doing so in the future . : :
v : Miller wanted to know if the Davis property had been sold . W . Cook said
that it had not .
III . Proposed Zoning Ordinance .
✓ . Miller reported that she had talked with M . McElwee re the zoning ordinance .
The Town Board has a meetingscheduled for September 24th to work on it . She
will talk to George Stevens and the others before then . M . McElwee said that
the water is almost ready to go ; all lines and mains are is and the tower is
going up rapidly from the top down . There is a remote possibility that Tom . :
Miller has found a grant for small cities . Mr . Schmitt from the Health Depart-
411 ment wrote a letter to go with the grant requesting $2 , 000 , 000 . 00 . The . State
School , Ludlowville and Lansing School system would be covered V . Miller felt
that one thing should be made clear , that zoning should come before water .
S . Cleveland reiterated to P . Munson that his patience is running out . Without .
zoning the Planning Board cannot do a thing , he feels . He asked Mr . Munson
about the Town Board ' s decision and was told there would be ao decision until
after the election . S . Cleveland felt that without zoning by January of ' 34
there would be no purpose in his continuing on the Planning Board . ' ;
✓ . Miller felt that small meetings only bring out the negative people .. Must
have a public hearing , she felt to present it . She also noted that no one is
the zoned area has ever come in to complain about it being too strict . .;
S . Cleveland said that the water issue delayed the zoning issue as many people
felt that they were one and the same .

IV . Milliken FLv Ash Dump
✓ . Miller reported that that has been resolved by the Town Board .'t=. She felt that
that took considerable amount of the Board ' s time too .
V . Planning Board Budget _
MOTION : L . Hirvonen moved that S . Cleveland should check with R . Briggs about Y ,_
the proposed Planning Board budget for 1984 . $3 , 000 . 00 plus carryover
funds would be considered adequate . L. Montague seconded the motion,
carried unanimously .
VI . Other Businessr�
C . Montague presented her bill for $108 . 43 to include recording fees , supplies ,
postage for the months of April thru August .
MOTION : S . Cleveland moved to accept and approve the secretarial fees due C .
Montague totaling $ 108 . 43 . W . Cook seconded , carried unanimously . .; '
