Finkleday : The undersigned is attorney for the Town of Lansing Planning Board . It has come to the attention of the Board that you have been constructing on your subdivision without proper permit and authorization of the Board , pursuant to the Lansing Subdivision Rules and Regulations . As you will recall , in late August , a letter was sent to you enclosing a copy of the Subdivision Rules and Regulations . Finally , on September 25 , 1978 you made an informal presentation to the Board . Nothing further was heard from you . Then , on III . November 13 , 1978 the Planning Board sent you a certified letter , return receipt requested , informing you that in fact you had not . obtained a construction permit as required by the rules and reg- ulations ; and no construction should be done without proper permit . • Finally , on December 5 , 1978 you made your first formal request to the Planning Board by filing the necessary application with the proper fee . However , thereafter , you never made any attempt to meet with the Planning Board to present your plans " for the subdivision . Therefore , any construction you have been ;• doing since September 25 , 1978 is without " authority of the Town of Lansing Planning Board as required by the Subdivision Rules and Regulations . By this letter we are - demanding that you cease and desist from any further construction on your proposed subdivision until such time as you make proper application to Planning Board under the Rules and Regulations , and obtain the necessary permit .
