Standing Committee Report - County Planning Board - S . Weeks A . Octopus alternatives 1 . 6 proposals by state 2 . numerous proposals by other groups 3 . PB will advise S . Weeks as to its input on this matter next meeting B . Workshop - SEQR - 30 March 1977 10 government building - it has been proposed to require an environmental impact statement on any new building the local government feels needs said study . 2 . private building - similar proposal , exempting single family residences . II . Land Use Control A . Discussion of the following items in relation to the northern part of town : 1 . frontage - safety - to eliminate the danger of too many driveways in one area 2 . setback - road clearance 3 . building permits - a means of charting growth B . Resolution - The Planning Board does hereby resolve to go on record as favoring a population density ordinance for the unregulated part of town , built around the concept of 1 ) lot frontage of 200 lineal feet , and 2 ) any structure thereon shall be setback 50 feet from the edge of road right - of-way , and 3 ) a building permit requirement for any structure o ver 150 square feet . C . Motion - B . Bement moved that the resolution be accepted , seconded by S . Weeks , carried unanimously by the board . D . Motion - It was moved by B . Bement to present the ✓ esolution to the Town Board for their consideration at their next meeting , 12 April 1977 , seconded by J . Burke , carried by the board . D . Hardie and B . Bement will officially present the resolution with the hope that other members will be able to be present . Adjourned : 8 : 00 P . M .
