Introduction of new member - Stan Weeks Other members introduced themselves and gave a brief resume of themselves . II . Minutes - of 13 Sept . 1976 were accepted by the board . Minutes of 11 Oct . 1976 were not acted upon since there wasn ' t a quorem at that meeting and couldn ' t be considered an official meeting . III . Budget A . Discussion - Members felt an increase unnecessary . B . MOTION : S . Baughman moved to maintain a budget of $ 1700 . 00 in the 1977 budget . Seconded by B . Bement and carried by the board . IV . Mobile Home Park Ordinance A . 60 day permits - have expired 1 . MHP owners must apply for a 1 year temporary 411 license and not all have done so . 2 . Ordinance Officer contacted - he will report the following information to the Town Board : a . 3 temporary licenses issued b . 6 owners have not applied - the Ordinance Officer will request an extension for them . co 1 has applied but Health Depart . wants septic problem cleared before temporary license issued . V . Ordinance Officer A . MOTION : It was moved that the Planning Board should ✓ equest the Town Board to compile a lob description o f the Ordinance Officers position , stating salary , and advertise the job . So moved by S . Baughman , seconded by B . Bement , carried by the board . B . 1977. project - consider and discuss the possibility of the Towns of Lansing , Dryden and Groton uniting to hire an individual with a background in planning to act as Ordinance Officer and expert advisor to all three towns ✓ I . Youth Recreation Commission The project was discussed , but the PB declined to act , considering it to be unrelated to their field . ✓ II . Survey ( per Bicentennial Fair ) results of Lion ' s poll A . Desired development • 10 Residential - 22 3 . Commercial - 2 2 . No development - 4 4 . Industrial - 1 Poll - continued Be Lot size 1 . 1 acre or more - 13 3 . vary - 4 2 . 1 to 1 acre - 9 4 . Less than + acre - 1 C . Need for land use ordinances 1 . Yes - 14 3 . Thought we had them - 1 2 . No - 10 4 . Sometime in future - 1 5 . No answer - 3 D . It was felt that most people wanted to maintain the status quo VIII . Master Plan A . Lot size Suggestion made that the Tompkins Cty . Health Depart . be consulted as per their requirements for dwellings with 2 or more bedrooms . B . MOT ION : ThePB does hereby move a�nd�, resolve that in the 1 �/srrI ( unzonedi portion of the towns roar froni` agg o`` ` 200 ' sha 1 be required for each lot and that lot size shall be commensurate with Board of Health specifications for a specified dwelling . So moved by B . Bement , seconded by Stan Weeks , carried unanimously by the board . C . MOT ION : It was moved by B . Bement to have the standard map of Lansing blown up to a good working size and to use copies of this as scratch maps in a work session . Seconded by S , Baughman , carried by the board .
