Hardie NOTE : Flow chart for minor subdivisions completed and dis - tributed to PB members . Minutes - 22 March 1976 - motion to accept made by D . Hardie , seconded by S . Baughman , carried by the board . II . Old Business - Subdivision A . Mrs . Miller called County Clerk , Lucy Grinnell - will be happy to send list of all subdivisions in county . B . Mr . Liguori , Ch . County Planning Depart . re : staff person - felt town too small to employ someone speci - fically for subdivisions , and in most comparable situations , it ' s handled by the Ordinance Officer . III . New Business - Presentation of sketch plan for minor subdivision by Samuel Baughman . A . one lot involved B . no road problem C . submitted to Town Clerk , 6 April 1976 D . further consideration on receipt of public health 410 approval IV . Speaker - County Health Depart . - Mr . Visalli ✓ iews in regard to Subdivision Regulations A . Overview 1 . State defines a subdivision as a parent parcel divided into 5 or more lots intended for resi - dential purposes - special approval required w ith 5th lot . 2 . County requires construction permit , and after 4 homes , original owner must submit a plan . 3 , County Health Depart . ( CHD ) goes through tax ✓ ecords to determine illegal subdivisions - letter sent denying water , sewage etc . and then ✓ ecorded . 4 . all sewage permits filed under tax map number 50 potential buyer in an illegal subdivision will be notified by his lawyer when records searched . 6 . CND will not give approval until local zoning or planning board writes letter approving concept - before the 5th permit in a subdivision can be issued , the CHD must have this letter B . Criteria for permit ( CHD ) 1 . soil suitability 2 . water availibility 30 drainage and erosion control C . Miscellaneous S C . Miscellaneous 1 . Legal action - none taken - just try to catch next house in subdivision 2 . single lot subdivision certificate issued 3 . Public Hearings should not be held until written communication received from CHD 4 . call Bob Dutcher in tax assesors office to deter - mine if subdivision is illegal 5 . PB member may go to CHI) office and read off all approved subs in Lansing . D . Related information 1 . Murphy - silos - - storage for dry fly ash - hauled away for making concrete Question : is it hauled in open trucks ? 2e isolated drinking water problem at Lake Ridge - high chromium content - not harmful Thanks on behalf of the entire PB were extended to Mr . Visalli for his time and interest . ✓ . Bicentennial A . L . Winter requested to call Mr . Hilliard again - if no responses call Mr . McDermott B . Suggestions 1 . Compilation of complete and accurate history of Town of Lansing - Longe range 2 . Placement of smalls attractive historical markers 3 . Lions Club plan ofr community building a ) L . Winter will organize fund - raising committee b ) Harvest Fair suggested as good way to raise money as well as pull entire community together . ✓ I . Mobile Home Park Ordinance Revision A . No action as yet by Town Board B . Motion : to approach TB with verbal reminder and express PB • s desire to see action taken , made by D . Hardie , seconded by B . Bement , carried by the board . ✓ ii . Subdivision Revisions A . Public Hearing needed for approval B . Town Board to be notified that a letter is to be sent to all known subdividers with instructions to contact the Ordinance Officer whenever questions arise . C .
