Craig , Frederick Edmondson ABSENT : Mrs . Viola Miller , Messrs . Paul Barron , H . B . Ruzicka , James Wood The meeting was called to order by the Chairman at 8 : 10 p . m . There being no quorum present , the minutes of the meeting of MINUTES April 14 , 1969 , were not presented , and no action was taken at the meeting . The resolution as originally passed by the Town Board author - 701 FUNDS izing a definite amount for the Town portion of the funds was not acceptable to the State inasmuch as they must have the 17 percent stipulation . Mr . Dates has stated that inasmuch as the original resolution passed by a 3 to 2 vote , he is reluctant to amend it . Mr . Niederkorn feels that Mr . Dates will have to check frith Mr . Hansen or Mr . Peters in Syracuse about relaying the political situation to OPC in Albany and recommending that they accept the original resolution of the Town Board , as it exceeded the amount which will actually be called for based • upon the cost of the project . Showacre Mentioned that if the Town Board were to vote on the matter at its meeting May 20 , and voted against it , they would in effect only be voting not to spend $ 5 , 500 in order to get $ 27 , 000 . Craig Stated that this project is something on which a large : number of people in the Town have worked very hard - - the achievement of a position where the Town could hire a consultant . It would be disastrous if the Board refuses to amend the motion , and by so doing lets the possibility of hiring a consultant go down the drain . This is a very important thing which is crucial to what the Planning Board is attempting to do . Suggested that the entire Planning Board might go before the Town Board at its meeting May 20 , 1969 , to let that Board know that if there is no amended resolution the entire work of the past two years is to no avail , If Mr . Dates decides there will be no action at the May 20 meeting , he should be asked when there will be some action . If it can be ascertained from the State on May 20 that they will take no action to resolve the impasse , then Mr . Dates could be asked for some Board action . If the vote were in the affirmative it would reduce the amount of /mooney involved . The Town Attorney might be of great assist - ance in getting an affirmative vote on this matter .
