NOTICE OF MEETING
The regular meeting of the Town of Lansing Zoning Board of Appeals will be held at
6:30 PM on Tuesday, April 13, 2021.
• Because of the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) Emergency and State and Federal bans on
large meetings or gatherings and pursuant to Governor Cuomo's Executive Order 220.1 issued
on March 12, 2020 suspending the Open Meetings Law, this regular meeting of the Town of
Lansing Zoning Board of Appeals will be held electronically via conference call instead of a
public meeting open for the public to attend in person.
• Members of the public may listen to or view the Zoning Board of Appeals meeting live or
recorded on the Town's YouTube channel, located here:

• Minutes of the Zoning Board of Appeals will transcribed and posted on the Town's website at
https://www.lansingtown.com/town-docs.
• Any members of the public wishing to be heard by the Board may enter the meeting room at
the time of the respective Public Hearing at:

1. PUBLIC HEARING#1:
Consideration of an Appeal made by Stacie Sasson, Applicant, on behalf of Aaron Daniel
Sasson, Owner, 7 Whispering Pines Dr, Tax Parcel 41.-2-16, located in the Residential—Low
Density(R1) Zoning District for an Area Variance from Town of Lansing Code § 270,
Schedule II: Area, Frontage, Yard, Heights, and Coverage Requirements which requires a 25'
minimum yard setback from the rear lot line. Applicant is seeking an 8' (eight)Area Variance
from the minimum setback to facilitate construction of a new 40' x 20' in-ground swimming
pool. This is a Type II Action under the State Environmental Quality Review Act 6 NYCRR
