Update on revised draft Natural Resources Inventory by Terry Carroll, Cornell Cooperative
Extension
- Today Terry sent out a Draft of the NRI that combined the work of the CAC Board and
the Students along with Osamu's input.
The online version has a friendly table of contents. Just click on what you would like to
go to, and it automatically brings you there.
The Draft is ready for the CAC Board to make their final review.
Let Terry know if you would like to add or make changes to the Draft.
Terry will check into the Resolution of the maps

- Would like Table 6 on page 35 to correct the changes to the percentages. Todd Walters
will send the corrections to Terry.
- Table 2 has and issue with the Title overlapping contents.
- The Scenic Inventory can be a separate document. Robyn Bailey could make a table that
lists the 68 locations. She is not sure of the best format.
- What are Scenic Resources? Why are the important?
- Photos for the Scenic Inventory would be beneficial down the road but not necessary
right now.
- Carrie would like it in the NRI and trying to make it as comprehensive as possible.
Having everything in one place seems beneficial.
- Focus on the distinctive and noteworthy ones.
- Target date to make changes to draft is August 27, 2020.
- John Greenly will take photographs to give updated pictures.
- Edits will be sent to Terry Carroll and cc: the rest of the Board.
Climate Smart Contact will be Terry Carroll until further notice.

- Second round of funding should be coming out soon. Terry will let the group know when
that happens.
Planning Report
- Annual Mandatory Training for Sexual Harassment and three other annual components
that have to be covered every year.
- The Town Board has approved a few Local Laws. One if them is the Codification which
will put all the local laws in an easy format for everyone to be able to search any local
laws and regulations for the Town of Lansing. The other Local Law that passed was the
solar and wind law.
- It is possible to see a solar project in the future could be 80 to 120-megawatt range. The
Office of Renewable Energy is back open.
Chair Carrie Koplinka-Loehr asked if there were any more questions.

Chair Carrie Koplinka-Loehr called the meeting to be Adjourned at 7:43pm.
