Randall, Planning Director Doug Dake, Town Board Liaison 17 Joe Wetmore, Town Board Liaison 18 19 Public Present via Zoom — Live on YouTube: 20 Mike Sigler Tim Buhl 21 22 Chair Jerry Caward opened the meeting at 6:30 pm. 23 24 Privilege of the Floor 25 - Mike Sigler has been continuing to collect signatures on his petition suggesting 26 regulations on Industrial Solar 27 - Tim Buhl, representing the Britton Woods Major Subdivision, believes all information 28 has been submitted. He will contact C.J. to discuss the next steps. 29 30 Continued review of the Land Use Ordinance Audit 31 Tonight's meeting was a review and discussion of the Land Use Ordinance Audit; discussed 32 questions 92-119. 33 34 Discussion regarding Suggested Edits to Solar &Wind Local Law 35 - Larry has commentary from the Ag community regarding setbacks on solar. 36 o 1500ft setbacks are way out of line, and 1000ft setbacks are too restrictive. 37 o Much happier with 500ft setback 38 o Would like a minimum 8ft berm with plantings on top with the 500ft setback. 39 - Possibly reduce to 100-150ft with the berm 40 - Berm would take care of neighbors without a second story, and cars driving by.The berm does 41 not help everyone. 42 - We need to come up with reasonable restrictions to have Article 23 work for us. 43 - There were concerns over the sale price per acre driving up tax rates for the surrounding area.
