An Emergency Meeting of the Lansing Town Board was held in the Town Clerk Office
in the Town Hall, 29 Auburn Road, Lansing, NY on the above date at 9:03 a.m. The
meeting was called to order by the Supervisor, Edward LaVigne, and opened with the
Pledge of Allegiance to the flag. Roll call by Deborah K. Munson, Town Clerk, showed
the following to be
PRESENT:
Andra Benson, Councilperson (remotely) Doug Dake, Councilperson (remotely)
Bronwyn Losey, Councilperson (remotely) Joseph Wetmore, Councilperson (remotely)
Edward LaVigne, Supervisor (remotely)
ABSENT: No one absent
ALSO PRESENT:
RESOLUTION APPROVING EXTENSION OF THE CONSTRUCTION
AGREEMENT FOR THE TOWN HALL FRONT DOOR REPLACEMENT

RESOLUTION APPROVING EXTENSION OF THE CONSTRUCTION
AGREEMENT FOR THE TOWN HALL FRONT DOOR
REPLACEMENT PROJECT
The following Resolution was duly presented for consideration by the Town Board:
WHEREAS, the Town Hall Front Door Replacement Project was published to The New
York State Contract Reporter on February 25, 2020; and
WHEREAS, the Town awarded the Town Hall Front Door Replacement Project to
McPherson Builders, Inc. per Resolution 20-70; and
WHEREAS, the Construction Agreement was executed on April 9, 2020; and
WHEREAS, McPherson Builders, Inc. was closed March 23, 2020 through May 15, 2020
due to Governor Cuomo’s COVID-19 Pandemic Executive Order 202.6 issued on March
20, 2020; and
WHEREAS, COVID-19 Pandemic closures created enormous backlog because
manufacturing also ceased production; and
WHEREAS, McPherson Builders, Inc. has requested additional sixteen (16) weeks of
time added to the Construction Agreement; and
WHEREAS, upon due deliberation thereupon, the Town Board of the Town of Lansing
has hereby
RESOLVED, that the Construction Agreement for the Town Hall Front Door
Replacement Project be extended, with a completion date no later than November 30,
2020.

The question of the adoption of such proposed Resolution was duly motioned by
Councilperson Joseph Wetmore, duly seconded by Councilperson Andra Benson, and put
to a roll call vote with the following results:
Councilperson Andra Benson – Aye Councilperson Doug Dake – Aye
Councilperson Bronwyn Losey – Aye Councilperson Joseph Wetmore – Aye
Supervisor Edward LaVigne – Aye
Accordingly, the foregoing Resolution was approved, carried, and duly adopted on July
31, 2020.
