Randall, Planning Director Doug Dake, Town Board Liaison 17 Joe Wetmore, Town Board Liaison 18 19 Public Present via Zoom— Live on YouTube: 20 No Public Present 21 22 Chair Jerry Caward opened the meeting at 6:33 pm. 23 24 Chair Jerry Caward enacted Thomas Butler as Lin Davidson was excused tonight due to other 25 commitments. 26 27 Privilege of the Floor 28 No Public Comments 29 30 Continued review of the Land Use Ordinance Audit 31 Reviewing Allowed Uses- picking up where they left off on number 58. 32 o Discussion on "Does the Town want to address short term rentals." 33 ■ Possible Local Law to require all rentals (long term and short term)to register 34 the property with the Code Office. 35 ■ Fire &Safety is a concern. 36 0 Proper Insurance coverage is a concern. 37 ■ Short term rentals in a residential area can be problematic. 38 ■ Looking into surrounding Towns to see what they have implemented. 39 o Discussion on creating a Local Law for long and short term rentals. 40 Committee would consist of three Planning Board members. 41 Sandy Conlon, Deborah Trumbull,Al Fiorille and Larry Sharpsteen will be 42 on the Committee.
