NOTICE OF MEETING
The regular meeting of the Town of Lansing Zoning Board of Appeals will be held at
6:30 PM on Tuesday,July 14, 2020.
• Because of the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) Emergency and State and Federal bans on
large meetings or gatherings and pursuant to Governor Cuomo's Executive Order 220.1 issued
on March 12, 2020 suspendingthe he Open Meetings Law, this regular meeting of the Town of
Lansing Zoning Board of Appeals will be held electronically via conference call instead of a
public meeting open for the public to attend in person.

Agenda
1. PUBLIC HEARING: Electronically via conference call instead of a public meeting open for
the public to attend in person, on the following matter:
Consideration of an Appeal made by Robert Marcus, Applicant and Owner, of 200 Cedar
Cove, Tax Parcel#37.1-6-9 located in the Lakeshore (L1) Zoning District for two Area
Variances from Town of Lansing Land Use Ordinance Section 504, Schedule II which
requires a 10' Minimum Rear Yard Set Back and a 30' Front Yard(from Cayuga Lake) Set
Back. Applicant is requesting an Area Variance of 9.5' from the Minimum Rear Yard Set
Back requirement and an Area Variance of 23' to facilitate placement of a 12' x 16' Gambrel
Paddlecraft structure. Town of Lansing Land Use Ordinance Section 504, Schedule II also
requires structures less than 30' from shore line to be subject to Site Plan Review, which is
scheduled for the July 27, 2020 Planning Board meeting. The structure is located in the A3
Area of special flood hazard and is also subject to the Flood Damage Prevention and Flood
Plain Management and Construction Local Law. This is a Type II Action under the State
Environmental Quality Review Act 6 NYCRR 617.5(c)(17).

All interested persons or representatives thereof will be given an opportunity to be heard; send
comments in writing to Town of Lansing, Planning & Code Enforcement Department, 29
Auburn Rd, Lansing, NY 14882 or tolcodes@lansingtown.com and your statement will be
forwarded to the Zoning Board of Appeals for their consideration. If you want your statement
read aloud,please state that in your letter or email. Meeting will be transcribed and posted on
the Town's website at https://www.lansingtown.com/town-docs
