Town Board Liaison Report for Tune Town Board Meeting (Verbal Report)
June 19, 2019 Town Board Meeting Summary
- Public Hearing for the Warren Road Sewer District #1 and passed the Resolution after
the Hearing
- Public Hearing for the annual Stormwater Report
o Joe Wetmore, Town Board Member, would like to see a Public Hearing and
neighbors notified during a Stormwater Process even when a project is not
going through Site Plan
o A Site Plan with more than one acre of disturbance triggers a Stormwater
review by the Town Engineer. A Stormwater review is to mitigate water issues
for the surrounding neighbors that could be caused by new land disturbances.
The Public Notification and the Public Hearing is not for Stormwater it is for
the State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQRA)
o If there is Stormwater Plan Review with no involvement with the Planning
Board could the Town Board send out the notification and hold the Public
Hearing
o Discussion of Neighbor Notification
Currently 600' Neighbor Notification is sent out regardless of the Zoning
District. The 600' is measured from all borders of the project parcel. In
the Rural Agricultural District the number of neighbors notified will be
smaller due to the larger size parcels in the neighborhood.
- Privilege of the Floor -Four people spoke
o One was in favor of the Data Center
o Two others were interested in the Conservation Advisory Council (CAC)
