HomeMy WebLinkAbout19-21 144 Locke Road Subdivision SEQRRESOLUTION PB 19-21 TOWN OF LANSING PLANNING BOARD RESOLUTION OF STATE ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY REVIEW (SEQR) NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR THE PROPOSED MINOR SUBDIVISION -144 LOCKE ROAD, LANSING NEW YORK, TAX PARCEL #6.4-24 WHEREAS, an application was made by Carl E Schimmelfing of Sovereign Rentals LLC, Applicant, on behalf of Mary Merrill, Owner, for a two -lot minor subdivision approval to create Lot 1, measuring 5.93 acres with existing house; and Lot 2, measuring 12.00 acres and actively farmed, at 144 Locke Road, Lansing, New York, and otherwise known as Tax Parcel #6.4-24, consisting of a total of 18 ± acres, in the RA (Rural Agriculture) Zone; and WHEREAS, this action was determined to be an Unlisted Action.for which the Town of Lansing Planning Board is the sole involved agency for the purposes of a State Environmental Quality Review Act ("SEQRA") review; and WHEREAS, this is a proposed. action reviewed under Local Law 3 of 2016, Subdivision Rules and Regulations of the Town of Lansing for which the completed application was received June 7, 2019; and WHEREAS, this Board, acting as Lead Agency in environmental review, did on June 24, 2019, review and accept as adequate: "Subdivision - Lands of Mary H. Merrill" prepared by Owasco Land Surveying and dated May 30, 2019; an Agricultural Data Statement and Short Environmental Assessment Form (SEAF), Part 1, submitted by the Applicant, and Part 2, prepared by the Planning Board; and other application materials; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: That the Planning Board of the Town of Lansing determines the proposed project will result in no significant impact on the environment and that a Negative Declaration for purposes of Article 8 of the Environmental Conservation Law be filed in accordance with the provisions of Part 617 of the State Environmental Quality Review Act for the action of'Minor-Subdivision approval for Town of Lansing Tax Parcel Number 6.4-24 for Carl E Schimmelfing of Sovereign Rentals LLC, Applicant, on behalf of Mary Merrill, Owner.
