Rebecca Levenheim Christine Eisenhut Vice Chairman Jerry Caward called the Planning Board Meeting to order at 6:32 PM. Vice Chairman Jerry Caward enacted Dean Shea and Thomas Butler due to three members absent today. FLOOR OPEN FOR COMMENTS/CONCERNS OTHER THAN WHAT IS ON THE AGENDA No Comments 1 I Page APPROVED MOTION TO APPROVE THE PLANNING BOARD MINUTES FOR DECEMBER 11, 2017 MEETING Dean Shea made a motion to APPROVE THE DECEMBER 11, 2017 minutes. Al Fiorille seconded the motion: All in Favor -5 Opposed - 0 REVIEW PROPOSED SOLAR & ALTERNATIVE ENERGY LOCAL LAW The planning board reviewed in detail the wording and edited some of the wording along with adding additional information to help clarify the proposed local law. They will complete a final edit on January 22, 2018 when the edits are completed. The Planning Board Members have expressed extreme thank you to Dean Shea and the committee members for the time spent researching, obtaining information from other municipalities and compiling into a comprehensive document. MIKE LONG REVIEWS PLANNING UPDATES Passed out to each Planning Board Member the annual Summary of Major Projects in 2018 reviewed and approved by the planning board. o A copy will be posted on the Town Website. The Cargill -Shaft #4 was approved at the last Town Board Meeting on Dec 20, 2017. • East Shore Circle -4 Lot Subdivision-John Young. o T.G. Miller has reviewed the Stormwater Plan with a few recommendations o Public Hearing scheduled on January 22, 2018 at the Planning Board's next mtg. • Verizon Tower-425 Conlon Road -Adding improvements to the existing tower. o Tompkins County 239 response is no negative inter-community or county-wide impacts. o Public Hearing scheduled on January 22, 2018 at the Planning Board's next mtg. o Adding a decommissioning clause. • Cayuga Orchards -Sign-North Triphammer. o Planning Board would like to see a presentation and/or have the developer present to discuss questions. TBD o After the Planning Board meeting, Cayuga Orchards will then meet with the ZBA for an area variance and a Public Hearing. The Town Board has decided to schedule workshop meetings on the first Wednesday of each month in different locations to accept additional comments on the Comprehensive Plan. Mike encourages all the planning board members to attend the workshops if they can. A Joint meeting will be scheduled with the Town Board and Planning Board on February 12, 2018.
