The Lansing Town Board met in Special Session at the Lansing Town Hall Board
Room at 6:00 p.m. with Supervisor Pinney presiding.
The Supervisor called the meeting to order and had the clerk take the Roll Call.

The Supervisor led all present in the Pledge of Allegiance.
Privilege of the Floor:
Ray Sill:
Mr. Sill heard a "rumor" that the land was going to be allowed access for hunting, and
acting upon that "rumor ", he wanted to present his opposition to the "Town Board" to
have it on record, that he would be opposed to this action, "IF" the Board were going to
consider such a change.
Mr. Sill has a contract with the Town to plant his crops on this land. He was afraid
he could accidentally be shot by a hunter if the Town opened it up to hunting. After
some discussion it was decided that this would not be open to hunters.

adopted as the Town of Lansing Final Budget for the Year 2009.

RESOLVED, that the proposed preliminary budget is hereby adopted as the
Town of Lansing Final Budget for the Year 2009.

Mrs. Wilcox thanked Jeff Overstrom, Steve Colt, Jack French and John Howell
for coming to the meeting.
Planning Board:
Mr. Besemer stated that the Planning Board is a seven member Board and they
only have six members at this time. The last Planning Board meeting was cancelled due
to lack of members. He felt the Town Board should look into replacing the seventh
member as soon as possible. This will be discussed at a later date.
