The Lansing Town Board met in Special Session at the Lansing Town Hall Clerk's Office
at 10:30 a.m. with Supervisor Farkas presiding.

Mr. Shattuck read and answered all of the questions in the SEQR application and the
following resolution was offered.
RESOLUTION, offered by Mr. McEver and seconded by Mr. Shattuck:
WHEREAS, the Town Board of the Town of Lansing received a request from Advance
Design Consulting, Inc. to expand its present 6,200 square foot facility by 9,000 square feet;
which facility is located at 126 Ridge Road, Lansing, New York; and
WHEREAS, the Town Board of the Town of Lansing, having been designated as the
lead agency for conducting an environmental review of the proposed project, and having
conducted such environmental review, and after due deliberation having made a negative
declaration of environmental impact; and
WHEREAS, the Lansing Town Board having conducted said State Environmental
Quality review, and having reviewed the proposal in light of the Town's Zoning and building
policies, and the Town having lawfully scheduled and held a public hearing upon June 13, 200' )
where no comment in opposition to the proposal was received; and
WHEREAS, upon due consideration of all facts and circumstances surrounding the
proposed project, the Town Board has therefore
RESOLVED, that the Town Board of the Town of Lansing hereby finds that the
proposed 9,000 square foot expansion of the existing facilities of Advanced design Consulting,
Inc., located at 163 Ridge Road, Lansing, New York, complies with the requirements of the New
York State Environmental Quality Review Act, and the Town Board, as lead agency, therefore
makes a negative declaration of environmental impact.

RESOLUTION, offered by Mr. Shattuck and seconded by Mr. McEver:
WHEREAS, the Town of Lansing commenced a claim against the State of New York,
venued in the New York Court of Claims, seeking monetary damages for and on account of the
State's actions in diverting traffic across Drake Road, a Town road, thereby damaging such
roadway; and
WHEREAS, the Court has requested settlement conferences and negotiations; and
WHEREAS, Town counsel desires to have a base of authority upon which to settle such

claim, should the State desire to settle such claim; and
WHEREAS, the Town's claim has a current known value of $ 33,950.57; and
WHEREAS, after review and discussion of each of the foregoing premises and the
proposals set forth or referenced herein, the Town Board of the Town of Lansing has hereby
RESOLVED, that the Town Attorney be and hereby is authorized to negotiate for and
settle this claim for an amount not less than $ 15,000.00, and be it further authorized to execute
such documents as may be reasonable necessary to effectuate the same.
