The Lansing Town Board met in Special Session at the Lansing Town Hall on October 30, 2002
at 5:40 P.M.
The Supervisor called the meeting to order and took the Roll Call,

A conversation was held regarding the approval of a Site Plan Review that was passed on
to the Town Board from the Planning Board. Councilman Shattuck reviewed the information that
had been submitted tot he Planning Board on October 7, 2002. Mr. Shattuck stated that the
Planning Board recommended that the proposed project be approved for a Site Plan Review.
After a brief discussion, the following resolution was adopted by the Town Board:
RESOLUTION, offered by Mr. Shattuck and seconded by Mrs. Greenly:
RESOLVED, upon recommendation from the Planning Board,the Town Board of the
Town of Lansing does hereby approve a Site Plan Review, in the name of Porous Materials, Inc.
on Dutch Mill Road in the Town of Lansing, Tompkins County, New York.

Supervisor Farkas requested that the Town Board approve an increase in work hours to
40 hours per week for the following positions:
Bookkeeper
Director of Parks and Recreation
Zoning, Planning and Code Enforcement Officer
The following Resolution was then approved by the Town Board:
RESOLUTION, offered by Mr. McEver and seconded by Mr. Shattuck:
WHEREAS, upon recommendation from the Town Supervisor, effective January 1,
2003, the Bookkeeper, Zoning, Planning, and Code Enforcement Officer, and Director of Parks
and Recreation will work a 40 hour work week, therefore it is
RESOLVED, that the hourly rate will be reflected on the updated wage and salary
structure for a 40 hour work week beginning January 1, 20030
