The Lansing Town Board met in Special Session at the Lansing
Town Hall Board Room at 7 :00 P.M. with Supervisor Kirby presiding.

VISITORS: Representatives from the Liberty Trail Group
including Gay Nicholson, Doug Volbrecht, Dan Broadway, John
• Kaminsky, Lynn Davidson and several other members. Doug Hagin and
Chuck LaComb.
The Supervisor called the meeting to order and took the Roll
Call.
Proof of Notice having been furnished, the Public Hearing to
discuss the Town of Lansing Land Use Control Ordinance was called
to order at 7:00 P.M.
RESOLUTION, offered by Mr. Tvaroha, seconded by Mr. Cleveland:
RESOLVED, after all persons desiring to be heard, having been
heard the Public Hearing was terminated at 7:10 P.M.

RESOLVED, that the Town Board of the Town of Lansing does
hereby accept the Amendment to the Town of Lansing Land Use Control
Ordinance as follows:
TOWN OF LANSING
ORDINANCE AMENDMENT
An Ordinance of the Town of Lansing, County of Tompkins, State
of New York, providing for the Amendment of the Land Use Control
Ordinance adopted by this Town Board on the 4th day of June, 1973,
is hereby amended to read as follows:
Section 1501. In general, unless otherwise specified in this
Article, signs shall be located on the premises they advertise and
shall not flash or move, or have the appearance of flashing or
moving. This provision shall not apply to those signs needed for
public safety and traffic control.

WHEREAS, the Town of Lansing, as lead agency, has solicited
comments in response to the Draft Environmental Impact Statement
which are entitled Comments on Draft Environmental Impact Statement
for Proposed Kingdom Farm Development, therefore be it

RESOLUTION,

RESOLVED, that the Town Board of the Town of Lansing hereby
agrees to employ two ( 2 ) youths between the age of 14 to 18 to work
for the Lansing Youth Service Program 20 hours per week for a total
of ten (10) weeks, plus FICA with the salaries being as follows:
Salary .$ 11700.00 ($4.25 per hour)
FICA .$ 136.00 (@ 8 %)
TOTAL . .
$ 1,836.00
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Lansing Youth Services has
$1,000.00 budgeted to pay summer staff with an additional $965.00
allocated by the County which will be reimbursed to the Town of
Lansing at the completion of the program.
