The Town Clerk and Engineer David Herrick met to publicly open
bids for dredging at Myers Park.
Two bids were received as follows:

bidders interested in submit-
ting a bid for dredging of the
Town of Lansing Park Marina
and Boat entrance channel lo-
cated at Myers Point, more
particularly described in the
Scope of Work attached to the
bid documents which can be
picked up at the Town Hall,
Lansing, New York between
the hours of 8:00 a.m. and
4:00 p.m. Monday through
Thursday and 8:00 a.m. to
-12:00 noon on Friday. Bids
must be submitted by March 9
at 12:00 noon to the Town
Clerk's Office. Bid opening
will be at 1:00 p.m. on March
9, 1990.

Town Board of the Town of
Lansing, Tompkins County,
New York, held at the Town
Hall in said Town, on March 7,
1990 at 8 o'clock p.m. prevail-
ing time.
The meeting was called to or-
der by Supervisor Kirby and
upon roll being called, the fol-
lowing were present: Jean-
nine Kirby, Supervisor; Larry
Tvaroha, Councilman; Louis
Emmick, Councilman; Jeffrey
Cleveland, Councilman; Boni-
ta Boles, Town Clerk; ABSENT:
Herbert Beckwith, Coun-
cilman.
The following resolution was
offered by Councilman Cleve-
land, who moved its odop-
tion, seconded by Councilman
Tvaroha, to wit:

A RESOLUTION PROVIDING
FOR THE CONSOLIDATION, DE-
TAILS AND SALE OF $2,065,000
PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT (SERI-
AL) BONDS, 1990, OF THE
TOWN OF LANSING, TOMP-
KINS COUNTY, NEW YORK,
FOR CERTAIN PURPOSES IN
AND FOR SAID TOWN.
BE IT RESOLVED, by the Town
Board of the Town of Lansin ,
Tompkins County, New York,
as follows:
SECTION 1. Of the $150,000
serial bonds authorized by
bond resolution dated Feb-
ruary 11, 1987, for the in-
crease and improvement of
the facilities of Water District
No. 2 in the Town of Lansing,
Tompkins County, New York
there shall be issued and sold
$122,000 serial bonds which
shall mature $15,000 in each
of the years 1991 and 1992,
$16,000 in each of the years
1993 and 1994, and $20,000 in
each of the years 1995 to
1997, both inclusive, and shall
be consolidated with other is-
sues of bonds of said Town as
hereinafter authorized. It is
hereby determined that the
period of probable usefulness
of the aforesaid specific ob-
ject or purpose is ten years
pursuant to su idivision 1 of
paragraph a c Section 11.00
of the Local Finance Law,

mined that the sum of
$14,666, from a source other
than the proceeds of bonds or.

used during the 1989 fiscal
year of said Town, to reduce
outstanding bond anticipation
notes of said Town for such
purpose, and that the sum of
$13,334, from such a source,
will be used on or before Oc-
tober 3, 1990, to further re-
duce such outstanding bond
anticipation notes, such
amounts constituting the first
two installments of the princi-
pal amount of such indebted-
ness.
SECTION 2. Of the $400,000
serial bonds authorized by
bond resolution dated Feb-
ruary 9, 1982, for the construc-
tion of a water distribition sys-
tem in and for Lansing Water
District No. 4 of the Town of I
Lansing, Tompkins County,
New York, there shall be is-
coed and sold $80,000 serial j
bonds which shall mature'
$40,000 in each of the years
1991 and 1992, and shall be +l
consolidated with other issues, \
of bonds of said Town as here-
inafter authorized. It is hereby'
determined that the period of j
probable usefulness of the
aforesaid specific object or
purpose is thirty years pur-
suant to subdivision 1 of par-
agraph a of Section 11.00 of
the Local Finance Law, com-
puted from March 29, 1982,
the date of the first bond an-
ticipation note issued there-
for. It is hereby further deter-
mined that the sums of
$40,000 each, from a source
other than the proceeds of
bonds or bond anticipation
notes, were used on March
29, 1983, March 29, 1984,
March 29, 1985, March 27,
1986, March 27, 1987, March
25, 1988 and March 24, 1989,
respectively to reduce out-
standing bond anticipation
notes of said Town for such
purpose, such amounts consti-
tuting the first seven instal-
lments of the principal
amount of such indebtedness.
It is hereby further determined
that the sum of $40,000, from
a source other than the pro-
ceeds of bonds or bond antic-
ipation notes, will be used on
or before March 23, 1990, to
further reduce outstanding
bond onticipotion notes of
said Town for such purpose
such amount constituting the
eighth installment of the prin-
cipal amount of such indebt-
edness.
SECTION 3. Of the $53,500 se-
rial bonds authorized by bond
resolution dated August 21,
1987, for the construction of
approximately 1800 feet of 8
inch diameter ductile iron wa-
ter main, together with
valves, fire hydrants and other
related necessary appurte-
nances in and for Lansing Wo-
ter District No. 8 of the Town
of Lansing, Tompkins County,
New York„ there shall be is-
sued and sold $46,000 serial
bonds which shall mature $3,-
000 in each of the years 1991
and 1996, both inclusive, and
$3,500 in each of the years 99
17 to 2004, both inclusive,
and shall be consolidated with
other issues of bonds of said
Town as hereinafter autho-
rized. It is hereby determined
that the period of probable
usefulness of the aforesaid
specific object or purpose is

tion 11.00 of the Local Finance
Law, it being hereby further
determined that the maximum
maturity of the serial bonds
will not exceed twenty years,
computed from October 3,
1988, the date of the first bond

mined that the sum of $2,744,
from a source other than the
proceeds of bonds or bond an-
ticipation notes, was used on
October 3, 1989, to reduce
outstanding bond anticipation
notes of said Town for such
purpose, such amount consti-
tuting the first installment of
the principal amount of such
indebetdness. It is hereby fur -
ther'determined that the sum
of $4,756, from a source other
than the proceeds of bonds or
bond anticipation notes, will
be used on or before October
2, 1990, to further reduce out-
standing bond anticipation
notes of said Town for such
purpose such amount consti-
tuting the second installment
of the principal amount of i

SECION 4. Of the $19,150 seri-
al bonds authorized by bond
resolution dated August 21,
1987, for the construction of t
