NOVEMBER 8, 1989
The Lansing Town Board met in Special Session at 8:00 P.M. at the
Lansing Town Hall Boardroom with Supervisor Kirby presiding.

The Supervisor called the meeting to order having the clerk take the
Roll Call.
The Supervisor presented her monthly report.
RESOLUTION offered by Mr. Tvaroha who moved its adoption
seconded by Mr.
Beckwith
WHEREAS , the bookkeeper requested the Town Board to make changes
in the preliminary budget due to changes in the Borg- Warner In -Lieu of Taxes
calculation, now therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, that the Town Board hereby makes the following
changes in the preliminary 1990 budget:
Page 2 - GENERAL. FUND A - to be raised from $ 177,973 to $ 177,514;
from 0.6189 per $ 1,000 to 0.6173 per thousand.
HIGHWAY FUND DA - to be raised from $ 319,195 to $ 318,337; from 1.1099
per thousand to 1.1069 per thousand.
DEBT SERVICE FUND - to be raised from $ 10,189 to $ 10,161; from 0.0354 to
0.0353 per thousand

A.discussion was held concerning Vestal Asphalt and the payment of the
overhead door to be placed in the old :storage shed at Woodsedge. Vestal
Asphalt offered to pay $1,000.00. Mr. Emmick will talk to Vestal Asphalt
and try to get them to pay at least $ 1,200.00.

David Herrick reported that all contracts for Water Districts #9j #14, & #15
are signed. Contractors for these districts will start after Thanksgiving.
David informed the Board that the Holden property water hookup will be
installed November 28th.
Howard informed the Board that the low bidder, Roberts Equipment, for the
1989 "V" Type Stainless Steel Spreader, did not meet specs. Howards recommendation
to the Board was to take the next lowest bidder who met specs which was.
Seneca Supply at $6,051.00.
RESOLUTION offered by Mr. Emmick who moved its adoption, seconded by
Mr. Cleveland:
RESOLVED that Howard Groat is hereby authorized to punccase one 1989 "V"
Type Stainless Steel Spreader from Seneca Supply in the amount of $6,051.00.

reside on Storm Road, and after due diliberation and discussion of the subject
matter, the following Resolution and Order was made and unanimoussly --passed -by
the Town Board of the Town of Lansing at a regular meeting of the Town Board
held on November 15, 1989.
RESOLUTION offered by Mr. Tvaroha who moved its adoption, seconded by
Mr. Beckwith:
RESOLVED, that the Town Board directshe Town Superintendent of Highways
to inspect Storm Road as shown in the Petition, and that the Town Superintendent
of Highways put appropriate signage on these roads to indicate the presence of
children at play.

Andy LaVigne presented his Report of Examination for the Town of Lansing
for the year ended December 31, 1988. (Town Audit) After much discussion
Mr. Tvaroha and the Board asked Jeannine as Fiscal Advisor of the Town to
address the appropriate departments on the audit findings and recommendations
and have them due the following: Review the findings and recommendations and
get back to the Board , 'to see if they agree with therf indings or not and if
they do not agree with them state why and see if the recommendations can be
implemented. The results should be returned to the Board in writing.
