This will be discussed further at a later date. The Town Board decided that the Town Engineer would attend the Lansing Planning Board Meetings on an as needed basis. Gary Wood gave an updated report. He also stated that he would like the Town Board to hire a clerk for the ordinance office and planning board meetings. Mr. Wood asked to have the building permit fees and the Junk Yard ordinance changed. This will happen at a later date. This will be done after lots are sold on this road. He stated tliat his crew had been working on the land in Myers that is being leased by the Town from the DEC. Gay Nicholson stated that the Town should leave it as is so not to endanger the wildlife and the wild flowers. Mr. Drost presented a proposal', to allow him to put up two signs in the Industrial Park on Warren Road. 19 W continued March 15, 1989 RESOLUTION offered by Mr. Emmick who moved its adoption, seconded by Mr. Beckwith: RESOLVED, that the Town Board hereby approves the placement of two signs in the Industrial Park with the understanding that the main one at the entrance will be at least two feet off the ground. Carried. The Town Board decided to ask Mr. DeLiebro to attend a meeting to explain the exemptions that a veteran could receive on his or her taxes in the Town of Lansing. A discussion was held concerning the Smugglers Path Road and lot No. 44 in the East Lake project. This will be discussed further at a later date. RESOLUTION offered by Mr. Emmick who moved its adoption, seconded by Mr. Beckwith: RESOLVED that the Road Specifications be amended to read: The quanity of base course bituminous material shall be 0.50 gallons per square yard. Carried. AUDIT RESOLUTION offered by Mr. Beckwith who moved its adoption, seconded by Mr. Emmick: RESOLVED that General Fund Bills # 88 through # 141 totalling $ 37,876.17 and Highway Fund Bills # 54 through # 89 totalling $ 58,949.79 are hereby approved for payment.
