HomeMy WebLinkAbout1988-10-05_ tow continued September 21, 1988 Mrs. Kirby stated that the Village of Cayuga Heights will allow eight more sewer permits to the Town of:-Lansing, RESOLUTION offered by Mr. Emmick who moved its adoption, seconded by Mr. Cleveland: RESOLVED, that the Town of Lansing will spend up to $3,500.00 toward an Intermunicipal feasible study concerning sewer subject to satisfactory proposal being made to the Supervisor concerning the funding and joint usage of the survey. Carried. A copy of the minutes of July 20th, August 3rd, August 17th and August 31st, 1988 having been furnished to the Board Members beforehand, the Supervisor asked for a motion to propose corrections or to accept same as submitted. RESOLUTION offered by Mr. Cleveland, who moved its adoption, seconded by Mr. Beckwith: RESOLVED that the minutes as submitted by the clerk are hereby approved. Carried. AUDIT RESOLUTION offered by Mr. Emmick who moved its adoption, seconded by Mr. Tvaroha: RESOLVED that General Fund Bills # 546 through 4629 totalling $429006.51 and Highway Fund Bills # 313 through # 358 totalling $110,904.49 except Highway Fund Bill # 340 to Syracuse Supply are hereby approved for payment. Call. The Supervisor called the meeting to order having the clerk take the Roll The Supervisor presented her monthly report. Town Historian,Louise Bement gave the board a presentation of the work she has been doing and what she plans to do in the future. The Town Clerk presented the tentative 1989 Budget to the Supervisor. (Aye) Jeannine Kirby, Supervisor OMIT PRECEDING RESOLUTION - NO FEDERAL REVENUE FUNDS IN 1989 The Town Board authorized Mr. Tvaroha to look intola Bonding Attorney to represent the Town of Lansing concerning the bonding of all Water Districts. Mr. Tvaroha will report back to the board with his findings. Mr. Thaler and Mr. Leathers decided that Mr. Leathers would get a warranty deed and give the Town a quick claim deed regarding their land on East Shore Drive and when.the road on said land is completed, it will then be deeded over to the Town of Lansing. Sit 2 122 continued October 5, 1988 RESOLUTION offered by Mr. Tvaroha who moved its adoption, seconded by Mr. Emmick: RESOLVED that the Town Board of the Town of Lansing will hold a Public Hearing on the "PRIOR NOTICE LAW" on November 5, 1988 at 8:00 P.M. in the evening thereof. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Town Clerk shall publish notice of said Public Hearing in the Ithaca Journal and post in the Lansing Town Clerk's office. Vote of Town Board . .
