Hearing for Proposed

having been furnished by the Town Clerk, the Public
Water District # 9 was called to order at 7:30 P.M.
Town Attorney Robert Williamson explained the legal aspects of the
Proposed Water District # 90
Engineer, T.G. Miller and his assistant,
outlining the following:
Water System to be constructed
Method of Operation
Estimated of the Project Cost
Method of Financing
Proposed Assessed"Formula
David Herrick gave a presentation
Estimates of annual assessment charges to the Everage homeowner
Estimated annual maintenance.and operating costs
One time connection charge
A question and answer period followed Mr. Miller's presentation.
A show of hands was asked for and objected to by a resident of Stormy
View Drive.. The resident stated the hearing for a point of information and
a large percentage of the people in the proposed district.did --- not.-receive. the Town
Newsletter which contained information of the Public Hearing.
The consensus was that the residents did want the water, but objected
to the high cost.
All persons desiring to be heard, having been heard the question and
answer period was closed.
It was stated that the next move was for the Town Board to consider
a formation of the Proposed Water District # 9 at the next regular Town
Board Meeting which will be held on February 11, 19870
The Public Hearing was adjournd by Supervisor Howell at 9:20 P.M.

The Lansing Town Board met in Regular Session at the Lansing Town Hall on
February 11, 1987 at 8:00 P.M. with Supervisor Howell presiding.
