Proof of Notice having been furnished by the Clerk, the Public Hearing on
the Special Districts, Lansing Water District <2 and Lansing Sewer District #2
was called to order by Supervisor Howell at 8:30 P.M., as advertised in the
Ithaca Journal and posted according to law. The Assessment Rolls for the year
1987 were offered for inspection and discussed.
All persons desiring to be heard, having been heard, and no objections
or comments made to said rolls, the Hearing on the Special Districts was
terminated at 8:45 P *M*
Proof of Notice having been furnished by the clerk, the Public Hearing
on Proposed Uses of Federal Revenue Sharing Funds for the calendar year of
1987 was called to order by Supervisor Howell at 8:45 P.M., as advertised
in the Ithaca Journal and posted according to law.
Supervisor Howell stated that proposed uses of Federal Revenue Shar-
ing Funds for the calendar year of 1987 would include Youth Projects and
Highway Projects. The amounts proposed to be allocated to the various
projects were reviewed.
All persons desiring to be heard, having been heard, and no objections
made to said proposed uses of Federal Revenue Sharing Funds, the Hearing
was terminated at 9:00 P.M.
The Town Board Members discussed the Public Hearings just held, follow-
ing resolutions were then offered:
RESOLUTION ADOPTING GENERAL FUND BUDGET offered by Mr. Stevens, who
moved its adoption, seconded by (fir. Emmick:
WHEREAS, this Town Board has met at the time and place specified in
the notice of Public Hearing on the General Fund Preliminary Budget and
heard all persons desiring to be heard thereon; now therefore be it
RESOLVED, that this Town Board does hereby adopt such General Fund
Preliminary Budget as originally compiled as the annual budget of this Town
for the fiscal year beginning on the 1st day of January 1987, and that such
budget as so adopted be entered in detail in the minutes of the proceedings
of this Town Board, and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Town Clerk of this Town shall prepare and
certify in duplicate, copies of said annual budget as adopted by this Town
Board, together with the estimates, if any adopted pursuant to Section 202 -a,
subd. 2 of the Town Law and deliver one copy thereof to the Supervisor of
this Town to be presented by him to the Board of Representatives of this County.

The persons present were each presented
a copy of the 1987
General and
Highway Fund Preliminary Budgets and
a copy of the Maintenance
and Operation
Budget for Water District #2. The budgets
were reviewed by the
board and
persons present.

WHEREAS, this Town Board has met at the time and place specified in the

persons desiring to be heard thereon; now therefore be it

RESOLVED, that the McKinney Water District budget for the year 1987 in the
amount of $1,826.79 be and the same hereby is adopted and approved and the tax
rate for said budget is $1.348 per thousand of assessed valuation is hereby adopted
and approved.

RESOLVED, that the Maintenance & Operation budget for the year 1987 for
Water District #2 be accepted and said water rate schedule for metered water
consumed shall be fixed in accordance to sufficiently cover the maintenance and
operation budget of said district:
WATER RATE SCHEDULE FOR WATER DISTRICT #2.
Minimum Per Quarter 20,000 gal. allowed $15.00
Next 5,000 gal. per Qtr. @ .75¢ per 1,000 gal.
Next 50,000 gal. per Qtr. @ .65¢ per 1,000 gal.
Next 675,000 gal. per Qtr. @ .50¢ per 1,000 gal.
Next 750,000 gal per Qtr. @ .35¢ per 1,000 gal., and be it further
RESOLVED, that the aforesaid schedule shall apply to every apartment or
trailer unit fed from a single meter. For example, if ten apartment units or
trailer units are fed by a single meter, the total meter charge shall be computed
as follows: divide the total meter reading by ten, equals the gallons of water
per equivalent unit. The water charge per equivalent unit is computed by multi-
plying the number of gallons per equivalent unit by water rate schedule. The
total water rate charge is computed by multiplying the equivalent unit charge
by ten.

RESOLVED, that $54,700.00 (Principal $40,000.00 /Interest $14,700) be added
to the 1987 Tax Roll on parcel #44 -1 -53.12 assessed to Borg - Warner Corp. to pay
interest and principal on note due March 29, 1987 for Water District #4.

RESOLVED, that the Supervisor be authorized to execute Agreement with
Andrew N. LaVigne to audit the Town of Lansing records for the year ending
December 31, 1985 in accordance with the Single Audit Act of 1984 at a
fee of $8,000.00.

WHEREAS, Orear is requesting Major Subdivision approval, and
WHEREAS, the Planning Board requires a statement from the Town Board of
a guarantee of satisfactory completion of the required improvements has been

WHEREAS, Orear & Flicks have submitted to the Town Board, a letter of
intent that they will build a road from Rte. 34 to the Orear subdivision
in accordance with Town Rules, now therefore be it �
