HomeMy WebLinkAbout1985-03-20Continued March 20, 1985 13 RESOLUTION offered by Mr. Hilliard, who moved its adoption, seconded by Mr. Emmick: RESOLUTION - AUTHORIZATION FOR SUPERVISOR TO EXECUTE ARC GRANT APPLICATION RESOLVED, that the Supervisor be and he hereby is authorized and directed to execute the Grant Application for a waterline extension to Wilco on behalf of the Town of Lansing, and be it further RESOLVED, that the Supervisor is authorized and directed to execute any and all other documents and certifications that may be required in the process- ing of this Grant Application, and be it further RESOLVED, that it is the intent of the Town of Lansing that grant funds received will be used by the Town for the proposed project to maximize benefits to businesses, and be it further RESOLVED, that the project administer construction will be primarily along existing highways with no dislocation Town Town Town Town Town of families, Louis Bert Hilliard, Margaret George Philip businesses, or any establishment except in case of emergency in which case the town is prepared to provide shelter for dislocated parties for the period of time the need exists. (Aye) Philip Munson, Supervisor RESOLUTION offered by Mrs. McElwee, who moved its adoption, seconded by Mr. Emmick: RESOLVED, that the financing of the ARC portion of the Lansing waterline leading to Wilco and other businesses shall cost approximately $147,800.00, and be it further RESOLVED, that the sources of these funds shall be: ARC Grant $739900.00 Wilco Grant 103000600 Lansing Water District 631900.00 Total $1479800.00 RESOLVED, that a Water District shall be formed by the Town of Lansing to administer and fund $63,900.00, and the Wilco Grant of $10,000.00, and be it further RESOLVED, that HUD shall administer the ARC Grant of $73,900.00. April 9, 1985 The Lansing Town Board met in Regular Session at the Lansing Town Hall April 9, 1985 at 8:00 P.M. with Supervisor Munson presiding. The Supervisor called the meeting to order having the clerk take the Roll Call. Director of Lansing Recreation, Kathleen Mahoney, discussed the summer programs being scheduled. Carol Williard, on behalf of the Family Forum, discussed a play area on the Recreation Field. Equipment for the play area was discussed. Tom Ellis and-Carol Willard to meet Saturday A.M. to draft a plan for the play area. (continued)
